5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your 4smarts PitStop+. This ensures optimal performance and battery longevity.

1. Connect the provided USB-A to USB-C charging cable to the USB Type-C input port on the PitStop+.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a suitable USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port.
3. The LCD will display the charging status. Charge until the battery indicator shows full.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle

Ensure your vehicle's ignition is off and the PitStop+ has sufficient charge (at least 75%).

1. Connect the jump start cables to the PitStop+ jump start connector.
2. Attach the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of your vehicle's battery.
3. Attach the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery.
4. Once connected, turn on the PitStop+ and follow any on-screen prompts or wait for the indicator to signal readiness.
5. Start your vehicle's engine.
6. Once the engine starts, immediately disconnect the black (-) clamp, then the red (+) clamp, and finally disconnect the cables from the PitStop+.

6.2 Using the Air Compressor

The PitStop+ can inflate tires, sports equipment, and other inflatables up to 120 PSI.

1. Connect the air hose to the inflator connector on the PitStop+.
2. Attach the appropriate nozzle to the air hose and connect it to the item you wish to inflate (e.g., tire valve).
3. Turn on the PitStop+. The LCD will display the current pressure.
4. Use the control buttons to select the desired pressure unit (PSI, BAR) and set the target pressure.
5. Press the start button to begin inflation. The compressor will automatically stop once the target pressure is reached.
6. Disconnect the air hose from the item and the PitStop+.

6.3 Using as a Power Bank

The PitStop+ can charge your mobile devices on the go.

1. Connect your device's charging cable to the USB Type-A output port on the PitStop+.
2. The PitStop+ will automatically begin charging your device, or you may need to press a button to activate the power bank function.

6.4 Using the LED Flashlight

The integrated LED flashlight provides convenient illumination.

• Press and hold the designated flashlight button (refer to Figure 3) to turn the flashlight on or off.
• Some models may have multiple light modes (e.g., steady, SOS, strobe) which can be cycled through by pressing the button repeatedly.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

• Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
