4. Setup
4.1 Adding Engine Oil
Before first use, or after an oil change, ensure the engine oil is at the correct level.
- Unscrew and remove the cover plate using a cross screwdriver.
- Twist off the oil dipstick and clean it.
- Using the provided funnel, inject approximately 11.8 fl.oz (350ml) of SP10W-30 oil into the oil fill port.
- Check the oil level with the dipstick before every use to ensure it is not lower than the "L" (Low) position.
- Reinsert the dipstick and secure the cover plate.
4.2 Adding Fuel (Gasoline)
Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do not use E85 or gasoline containing more than 10% ethanol.
- Ensure the generator is on a level surface and the engine is off and cool.
- Open the oil tank cap (fuel cap).
- Carefully inject gasoline, up to a maximum of 0.66 gallons (2.5 liters), into the fuel tank. Do not overfill.
- Securely close the oil tank cap.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Starting the Generator
Follow these steps to start your AIVOLT 1600W Inverter Generator:
- Turn the Fuel Switch to the "RUN" position.
- Pull the choke lever out to the "START" position.
- Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
- Pull the rope of the recoil starter swiftly until the engine starts.
- Once the engine starts, immediately turn the rotary switch (choke lever) to the "RUN" position.
5.2 Eco-Mode Operation
The Eco Switch allows the generator to automatically adjust engine speed to match the load, improving fuel efficiency and reducing noise.
- To activate Eco-mode: Flip the Eco Switch to the "ON" position. The generator will run at a lower RPM when the load is light.
- For full power: Flip the Eco Switch to the "OFF" position. The generator will run at full speed, providing maximum output.

- Air Filter: Inspect and clean the air filter every 50 hours or more frequently in dusty conditions. Replace if damaged.
- Spark Plug: Inspect and clean the spark plug every 100 hours or annually. Replace if worn or fouled.
- Fuel Filter: Inspect the fuel filter periodically and replace if clogged.
- General Cleaning: Keep the generator clean and free of debris. Ensure cooling vents are not obstructed.
7. Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions to common operational issues.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Engine does not start | No fuel, low oil, engine switch OFF, choke incorrect, spark plug issue. | Check fuel level, add oil, turn engine switch ON, adjust choke, inspect spark plug. |
| No power output | Overload, AC circuit breaker tripped, Eco-mode engaged with high load. | Reduce load, press AC Reset button, turn Eco Switch OFF for full power. |
| Engine runs rough | Stale fuel, clogged air filter, dirty spark plug. | Drain old fuel and add fresh, clean air filter, clean/replace spark plug. |
| Generator shuts down automatically | Low oil level, CO Alert activated, overload. | Check oil, move to well-ventilated area, reduce load. |
