Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Open the safe using one of the backup keys. Insert the key into the keyhole and turn it to unlock the safe.
- Locate the battery compartment, typically on the inside of the door or on the back panel.
- Insert the 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment. The LCD display should activate.
2. Initial Access and Setting Time
Upon battery installation, the LCD display will show the current time and battery level. You can set the time as follows:
- With the safe open, locate the 'SET' button inside the safe (often a small pinhole button).
- Press the 'SET' button using the provided screwdriver tool or a similar pointed object.
- Use the keypad to enter the current time. Refer to the on-screen prompts for format (e.g., HH:MM).
- Press 'SET' again to confirm.

3. Securing the Safe
To prevent unauthorized removal, the safe can be secured using the included security cable or mounting screws.
- Using the Security Cable: Loop the 40.16-inch steel security cable around a fixed object (e.g., bed frame, car seat support). Attach one end of the cable to the designated anchor point on the safe.
- Using Mounting Screws: The safe features pre-drilled holes for permanent mounting. Position the safe in the desired location (e.g., inside a drawer, on a shelf). Mark the drilling points, drill pilot holes if necessary, and secure the safe using the provided mounting screws.

Operating the Safe
1. Programming a Passcode
The safe supports a 5-digit numeric passcode.
- With the safe door open, press the 'SET' button located inside the safe.
- Enter your desired 5-digit passcode on the keypad.
- Press the 'SET' button again to confirm the passcode.
- Test the new passcode with the door open before closing it.
2. Programming Fingerprints
The safe can store up to 100 different fingerprints.
- With the safe door open, press the 'SET' button located inside the safe.
- Place your finger on the fingerprint scanner. The scanner will light up.
- Lift and place your finger multiple times (typically 3-5 times) from different angles until the safe confirms successful registration (e.g., a green light or audible beep).
- Repeat for additional fingerprints as needed.
- Test each registered fingerprint with the door open before closing it.

3. Accessing the Safe
The safe offers three methods for quick access:
- Biometric Fingerprint: Place a registered finger on the fingerprint scanner. The safe will unlock within 1 second if the fingerprint is recognized.
- Passcode Keypad: Enter your 5-digit passcode on the keypad. The safe will unlock upon correct entry.
- Backup Keys: In case of battery failure or forgotten codes, insert one of the backup keys into the keyhole and turn to manually unlock the safe.

4. LCD Display Functions
The integrated LCD display provides useful information:
- Time Display: Shows the current time.
- Battery Level: Indicates the remaining battery power, allowing timely replacement.
- Internal LED Light: The internal LED automatically illuminates for approximately 10 seconds when the safe door is opened, aiding visibility in low-light conditions.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable operation of your safe.
- Battery Replacement: Replace all 4 AA batteries when the LCD display indicates a low battery level. Always use new, high-quality alkaline batteries.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the fingerprint scanner and keypad clean and dry for optimal performance.
- Function Check: Periodically test all access methods (fingerprint, passcode, key) to ensure they are working correctly.
- Key Storage: Store backup keys in a secure, separate location, not inside the safe.

- Safe Not Opening with Fingerprint:
- Ensure your finger is clean and dry.
- Try placing your finger from different angles.
- Re-register your fingerprint if issues persist.
- Check battery level.
- Safe Not Opening with Passcode:
- Verify you are entering the correct 5-digit code.
- Ensure batteries are not low.
- LCD Display Not Working:
- Replace all 4 AA batteries.
- Safe Door Not Latching Properly:
