Operating Instructions
Tracking Your Item
The tag8 Dolphin tracker uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.0 to provide location information. When your mobile device is within the tracker's range (approximately 250 feet line of sight, 30 feet non-line of sight), the app will show its live location. If the tracker is out of range, the app will display the last known location.

Separation Alarm
Activate the separation alarm feature in the Dolphin Tracker App. If your tracker moves out of your phone's Bluetooth range, both your phone and the tracker will emit an alarm, alerting you to the separation.
Community Search
If your item is lost, mark it as "Lost" in the Dolphin Tracker App. This enables the community search feature. Any smartphone running the tag8 app that comes within range of your lost tracker will anonymously update its location, helping you recover your item.
QR Code and SITA WorldTracer
Each tag8 Dolphin tracker features a unique scannable QR code and an embedded SITA WorldTracer Code. The QR code allows a finder to easily contact you or tag8's Global Logistic Support for return. The SITA WorldTracer Code aids in tracking across airports worldwide.
