4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Microphone
- Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the charging port at the bottom of the microphone.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB charging adapter (5V/2A recommended).
- The charging indicator light will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.

4.2 Bluetooth Connection
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button (①) for 2 seconds to turn the microphone on.
- Enter Pairing Mode: Short press the Bluetooth button (⑥). The indicator light will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- Device Pairing: On your smartphone or other device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select Device: Tap on "PHILIPS DLM9317C" to initiate pairing.
- Confirmation: Once successfully paired, the microphone's indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid. You can now open your music or karaoke app and start playing.

4.3 Wired Connection (AUX)
For devices that do not support Bluetooth or for a more stable connection, you can use the included audio connection cable:
- Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the 3.5mm stereo mini terminal (input) at the bottom of the microphone.
- Connect the other end to the audio output jack of your smartphone, tablet, or other audio source.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Microphone Controls
The DLM9317C features several buttons for easy control:
- Power Button (①):
- Long press (2 seconds): Power On/Off.
- Short press: Switch between microphone volume adjustment and accompaniment volume adjustment.
- Volume Up Button (+):
- Short press: Increase volume.
- Long press: Go to the previous song (when playing music).
- Volume Down Button (-):
- Short press: Decrease volume.
- Long press: Go to the next song (when playing music).
- Effect Switch Button (④):
- Short press: Confirm the current effect.
- Short press again within 3 seconds: Switch to the next effect (8 types available, including echo and voice changer).
- Cancel Button (⑤):
- Short press: Turn off the current effect.
- Long press: Toggle Vocal Cancel mode On/Off. This function attempts to minimize vocals in a song, allowing you to sing along.
- Bluetooth Button (⑥):
- Short press: Enter Bluetooth pairing mode. If already connected, it will disconnect the current device and enter pairing mode.

5.2 Party Mode (Duet Function)
To use two DLM9317C microphones for a duet:
- Ensure both microphones are powered on and not connected to any device via Bluetooth.
- On the first microphone (Master), long press the Bluetooth button (⑥) to enter Party Mode pairing.
- On the second microphone (Slave), short press the Bluetooth button (⑥).
- Once grouped successfully, the Slave microphone's lamp will slowly flash white. The Master microphone's lamp will indicate its Bluetooth status (ready to pair with a smartphone).
- Connect your smartphone to the Master microphone via Bluetooth as described in Section 4.2.
Note: The Vocal Cancel function is not available when Party Mode is active.
5.3 Headphone Output
You can connect your personal earphones or headphones to the 3.5mm headphone terminal (output) at the bottom of the microphone. This allows you to listen to the mixed karaoke and vocal audio privately, which is ideal for practice.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the microphone body with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or solvents, as these may damage the surface.
