Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your FORSINING GMT1211-9 automatic self-winding mechanical watch. Please read this guide thoroughly to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your timepiece. This watch features an intricate skeletonized dial, a robust octagonal design, and a transparent case back showcasing its mechanical movement.
1. Setup
1.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Upon receiving your FORSINING watch, carefully remove it from its packaging. Inspect the watch for any visible damage. The package should include the watch and a bracelet sizing tool.

1.2 Initial Winding
As an automatic mechanical watch, it requires kinetic energy to operate. If the watch has stopped or is not running, it needs to be manually wound to initiate power reserve. To do this:
- Ensure the crown is in its normal, pushed-in position (Position 1).
- Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 20-30 times. This will build up an initial power reserve.
- The watch will then start ticking. Subsequent wrist movement will continue to power the watch.
1.3 Setting the Time
To set the correct time:
- Gently pull the crown out to Position 2 (the outermost position).
- Rotate the crown in either direction to adjust the hour and minute hands to the desired time.
- Once the time is set, push the crown back into Position 1.

1.4 Bracelet Adjustment
The watch comes with a stainless steel bracelet. If the bracelet is too loose or too tight, it can be adjusted by removing or adding links. A bracelet sizing tool is included for this purpose. If you are unsure, it is recommended to seek professional assistance for bracelet adjustment to avoid damage.
2. Operating the Watch
2.1 Automatic Self-Winding Movement
Your FORSINING watch is equipped with an automatic self-winding mechanical movement. This means the watch is powered by the natural motion of your wrist. When worn regularly, the rotor inside the watch moves, winding the mainspring and maintaining the power reserve. If the watch is not worn for an extended period (typically 36-48 hours), it may stop and will require manual winding as described in Section 1.2.

2.2 Luminous Display
The watch features luminous elements on its dial and hands, allowing for improved visibility in low-light conditions. These elements absorb light and then emit a glow in the dark.
3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For more thorough cleaning, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying with a soft, clean cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
3.2 Water Resistance (30M)
Your FORSINING watch is designed with 30 meters (3 ATM) of water resistance. This rating means it is suitable for daily life activities such as hand washing, sweating, and accidental rain or water splashes. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, or diving. Exposure to hot water (e.g., hot showers, saunas) should be avoided as it can compromise the watch's seals and water resistance over time.
3.3 Storage
When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. If storing for an extended period, ensure it is fully wound before storage to prevent the lubricants from settling.

3.4 Servicing
Mechanical watches benefit from periodic servicing to ensure optimal performance and longevity. The recommended service interval can vary, but generally, a mechanical watch should be inspected by a qualified watchmaker every 3-5 years.
4. Troubleshooting
4.1 Watch Not Running
If your watch stops running, it is likely due to insufficient power reserve. Manually wind the watch by rotating the crown clockwise 20-30 times while it is in Position 1. If the watch still does not start, ensure it has not been exposed to extreme shock or magnetic fields.
4.2 Time Inaccuracy
Mechanical watches are not as precise as quartz watches and may exhibit slight variations in timekeeping. A deviation of +/- 15-30 seconds per day is generally considered acceptable for a mechanical watch. However, if your watch is gaining or losing several minutes per hour, it may indicate a problem with the movement. In such cases, professional inspection is recommended.
4.3 Water Intrusion
If you notice condensation or water inside the watch, immediately take it to a professional watchmaker. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself, as this can cause further damage.
