Operating Instructions

Understanding Scan Modes

The scanner offers three primary operational modes:

  1. Wireless Mode (Instant Upload): In this mode, scanned barcode data is immediately transmitted to your connected computer. This is ideal for real-time data entry.
  2. Collect Mode (Storage): Designed for counting and inventory of multiple goods. The scanner stores barcode data in its 8MB built-in memory. You can check "Code Length" and "Code Count" on the screen. Data can be uploaded later.
  3. Inventory Mode (Storage): For inventory management, this mode allows collecting and counting barcodes, inventory queries, and supports manual operation for in and out of inventory. You can check "Code Length", "Code Count", "Total scanned quantity", and "Inventory quantity" on the screen. Data is stored in memory for later upload.

Additionally, the screen shows battery level, signal strength, and transmission status, enhancing user convenience.

To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean the scanner's screen and scanning window. Use a soft, lint-free cloth, slightly dampened with water or a mild screen cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could damage the device.

Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the scanner frequently. Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods. If the device will not be used for a long time, charge it to about 50% before storage.
