4. Setup

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging and verify against the package contents list.
  2. Position the Tumbler: Place the tumbler base on a flat, stable, and dry surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation and operation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Loading the Barrel

  1. Select Rocks: Choose rough rocks suitable for tumbling. The barrel has a 2.5lb capacity.
  2. Add Rocks: Place the selected rocks into the rubber barrel.
  3. Add Grits and Media: Add the appropriate polishing grit for the current stage (Coarse, Medium, Pre-Polish, or Final Polish) along with ceramic pellets. Refer to the included full-color instruction book for detailed grit-to-rock ratios and water levels.
  4. Seal the Barrel: Securely close the barrel lid to prevent leaks during operation.

5.2 Setting Time and Speed

  • Power On: Press the ON/OFF button to activate the tumbler.
  • Set Timer: Use the + and - buttons under "DAYS" to set the desired tumbling duration (1-9 days).
  • Set Speed: Use the + and - buttons under "SPEED" to select one of the 3 precision speed settings.
  • Start Tumbling: The tumbler will begin operation after settings are confirmed.
  • Pause/Resume: Use the Pause/Resume button to temporarily stop or restart the tumbling process without losing your settings.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Barrel

  • After each tumbling cycle, thoroughly rinse the rubber barrel and lid with water to remove all grit and rock residue.
  • Ensure no abrasive particles remain, as they can contaminate subsequent polishing stages.

6.2 Belt Inspection and Replacement
