2. Safety Instructions
- Always connect the machine to a grounded power outlet.
- Do not immerse the machine, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
- Exercise caution when handling hot liquids and steam. The brewing unit and drip tray can become very hot.

4. Setup
- Unpacking: Remove all packaging materials and place the machine on a stable, level surface.
- Initial Cleaning: Wash the water tank, drip tray, and used capsule container with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Fill Water Tank: Fill the water tank with fresh, cold drinking water up to the MAX mark. Place it back securely on the machine.
- First Rinse Cycle: Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet. Place a cup under the coffee outlet. Press any beverage button to start a rinse cycle without a capsule. Repeat this process 2-3 times to clean the internal system.
5. Operating Instructions
Preparing a Beverage:
- Turn On: Ensure the machine is plugged in and the water tank is filled. Press the power button to turn on the machine. The buttons will flash during heating and illuminate steadily when ready.
- Insert Capsule: Open the capsule holder lever, insert a Tchibo Cafissimo capsule, and close the lever firmly.
- Place Cup: Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
- Select Beverage: Press the desired beverage button (Espresso, Caffè Crema, or Coffee). The machine will automatically brew the selected beverage.
- Automatic Stop: The brewing process stops automatically. The machine also features an integrated automatic shut-off after 9 minutes of inactivity.
- Remove Capsule: After brewing, open the capsule holder lever to eject the used capsule into the internal container. Close the lever.
Programming Beverage Quantity:
The machine allows programming beverage quantities from 30 ml to 250 ml.
- Ensure the machine is ready (buttons illuminated steadily).
- Insert a capsule and place a cup.
- Press and hold the desired beverage button. The machine will start brewing.
- Release the button when the desired quantity is reached. The machine will save this setting for future use with that specific button.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your machine.
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, empty and rinse the drip tray and the used capsule container. These parts are dishwasher safe.
- Water Tank: Clean the water tank regularly with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Coffee Outlet: Periodically wipe the coffee outlet area with a damp cloth to remove any coffee residue.
7. Descaling
The machine features an automatic descaling indicator. When the indicator lights up, it is time to descale your machine to prevent limescale buildup, which can affect performance and taste.
Descaling Process (General Steps):
- Empty the water tank and the used capsule container.
- Fill the water tank with a descaling solution according to the descaler manufacturer's instructions (or use a mixture of water and white vinegar).
- Place a large container (at least 650 ml capacity) under the coffee outlet.
- Start the descaling program. (Refer to your machine's specific descaling instructions, usually by pressing and holding certain buttons).
- Allow the machine to run through the descaling cycle, which typically involves dispensing the solution in intervals.
- After the descaling solution has been dispensed, rinse the water tank thoroughly and fill it with fresh water.
- Run several rinse cycles with fresh water to remove any descaler residue.
Always use a descaling agent suitable for coffee machines and follow its instructions carefully.
8. Troubleshooting
