3. Wiring
Connect the fixture to a universal voltage input of 120/208/240/277 V. Follow local electrical codes for wiring connections. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.
4. Adjusting CCT and Wattage
The H17 Highbay features field-adjustable settings for both Color Correlated Temperature (CCT) and wattage. These adjustments are typically made via switches located on the fixture body. Refer to the labels near the switches for specific settings.
- CCT Adjustment: Select between 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Neutral White), or 5000K (Cool White) to suit application requirements.
- Wattage Adjustment: Choose between 100W, 120W, or 150W to control light output and energy consumption.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
Once installed and wired, the fixture will illuminate when power is supplied. Use a standard wall switch or circuit breaker to control power to the unit.
2. Dimming Function
The H17 Highbay supports 0-10V dimming. Connect a compatible 0-10V dimmer to the fixture's dimming wires according to the dimmer manufacturer's instructions and local electrical codes. The fixture can be dimmed down to 10% of its maximum light output.
3. Remote Control (If Applicable)
Some configurations of the H17 may include remote control functionality. If a remote control is provided, refer to its specific instructions for pairing and operation. The remote typically allows for power on/off, dimming, and potentially CCT adjustments.
Maintenance
The RAB H17 LED Highbay requires minimal maintenance. Regular cleaning and inspection will ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the fixture. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish or optical components.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the fixture for any signs of damage, loose wiring, or corrosion. Ensure mounting hardware remains secure.
- LEDs: The LEDs are designed for long life and do not require replacement.
Troubleshooting
If the fixture is not operating correctly, consult the following table before contacting support:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Fixture does not illuminate | No power supply Loose wiring connection Faulty switch/breaker | Check power supply at the circuit breaker. Verify all wiring connections are secure. Test the switch or breaker for functionality. |
| Light output is too low/high | Incorrect wattage setting Dimmer setting too low/high | Adjust the wattage switch on the fixture. Adjust the 0-10V dimmer to the desired level. |
| Light color is incorrect | Incorrect CCT setting | Adjust the CCT switch on the fixture to the desired color temperature. |
| Flickering light | Unstable power supply Incompatible dimmer Loose wiring | Ensure stable power. Consult an electrician. Verify dimmer compatibility with 0-10V standard. Check all wiring connections. |
