Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the dehydrator and its accessories.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the dehydrator base with a damp cloth. Wash the drying trays and fruit roll sheets in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Alternatively, the trays can be placed on the top rack of a dishwasher (ensure to remove them before the drying cycle).
- Placement: Place the dehydrator on a dry, stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not block the air vents.
- Assembly:
- Place the first drying tray onto the base unit.
- Stack the remaining trays on top. The trays can be oriented in two ways to provide either standard spacing or slightly increased spacing for thicker items.
- If using fruit roll sheets, place them directly onto a drying tray.

Operating Instructions
- Prepare Food: Wash, peel, and slice your food items evenly. Thinner, uniform slices will dehydrate more consistently.
- Load Trays: Arrange food in a single layer on the drying trays, ensuring air can circulate freely around each piece. Do not overload trays.
- Place Fruit Roll Sheets: For fruit leathers, purees, or liquid-based items, pour the mixture onto the fruit roll sheets placed on the drying trays.
- Stack Trays: Place the loaded trays onto the dehydrator base. Ensure the top lid is securely in place.
- Plug In: Connect the power cord to a standard electrical outlet. The digital display will illuminate.
- Set Temperature: Press the "Temp/Time" button once. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the temperature between 95°F and 165°F (35°C and 74°C). The recommended temperature for jerky and poultry is 165°F.
- Set Timer: Press the "Temp/Time" button a second time. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the drying time from 30 minutes to 48 hours.
- Start Dehydration: Press the "Start/Stop" button to begin the dehydration process. The fan will start, and the display will show the remaining time and current temperature.
- Monitor Progress: Periodically check the food's dryness. Drying times vary based on food type, thickness, and moisture content.
- Stop Dehydration: The dehydrator will automatically shut off when the timer expires. You can manually stop the process at any time by pressing the "Start/Stop" button.
- Cool and Store: Allow dehydrated food to cool completely before storing in airtight containers.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your dehydrator.
- Unplug: Always unplug the dehydrator from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Clean Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the dehydrator base with a damp cloth or sponge. Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid. Ensure no liquid enters the internal components.
- Clean Trays and Sheets: The drying trays and fruit roll sheets can be washed in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. For convenience, these accessories are top-rack dishwasher safe; however, remove them before the dishwasher's drying cycle to prevent warping from excessive heat.
- Storage: Once clean and dry, reassemble the dehydrator or store its components in a clean, dry place.
