The receiver is designed for easy installation between your power supply and the device you wish to control. No complex wiring is required beyond connecting the input and output wires.

Figure 5.1: Basic wiring diagram showing the receiver connected between an AC 90V-250V power source and a light fixture.
5.1. Wiring Instructions:
- Disconnect Power: Before any wiring, ensure the main power supply to the circuit is turned off.
- Identify Wires: The receiver has input (L/N) and output (L/N) terminals. Typically, red is Live (L) and black is Neutral (N).
- Connect Input: Connect the AC 90V-250V power supply's Live wire to the receiver's 'Input L' terminal and the Neutral wire to the 'Input N' terminal.
- Connect Output: Connect the Live wire of your appliance (e.g., lamp) to the receiver's 'Output L' terminal and the Neutral wire to the 'Output N' terminal.
- Secure Connections: Ensure all wire connections are secure. The receiver is packaged in a box for safer use.
5.2. Programming the Transmitters:
The receiver supports three operating modes: Momentary, Toggle, and Latched. The product is typically pre-set to Latched mode. You can program the receiver to your desired mode by following the steps below. Refer to the video for a visual guide.
Video 5.2: A detailed demonstration on how to program the DieseRC 2201O receiver for different operating modes (Momentary, Toggle, Latched) and how to reset it.
Resetting the Receiver:
To clear all programmed transmitters, press the learning button on the receiver 8 times. The indicator light will flash to confirm the reset.
Programming Toggle Mode:
Press the learning button on the receiver 2 times. The indicator light will flash. Then, press the desired button on your transmitter (e.g., button 'A'). The indicator light will flash again, confirming successful programming. In Toggle mode, one press turns the light ON, and another press turns it OFF.
Programming Latched Mode:
Press the learning button on the receiver 3 times. The indicator light will flash. Then, press button 'A' on your transmitter, followed by button 'B'. The indicator light will flash again, confirming successful programming. In Latched mode, pressing button 'A' turns the light ON, and pressing button 'B' turns it OFF.
Programming Momentary Mode:
Press the learning button on the receiver 4 times. The indicator light will flash. Then, press the desired button on your transmitter (e.g., button 'A'). The indicator light will flash again, confirming successful programming. In Momentary mode, the light stays ON only while the button is pressed and turns OFF when released.
Default Original State (Power-on State):
To set the receiver to switch its state (turn on/off) when power returns after an outage, press the learning button on the receiver 7 times. The indicator light will flash to confirm this setting.
6. Operating the Device
Once the receiver is wired and programmed, you can operate your connected appliance using the remote control transmitters according to the programmed mode.

Figure 6.1: Visual representation of the three programmable operating modes: Momentary, Toggle, and Latched, showing how the light responds to button presses.
- Momentary Mode: Press and hold the programmed button on the remote to turn the light ON. Release the button to turn the light OFF.
- Toggle Mode: Press the programmed button once to turn the light ON. Press the same button again to turn the light OFF.
- Latched Mode: Press button 'A' on the remote to turn the light ON. Press button 'B' on the remote to turn the light OFF.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the receiver and transmitters. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: The keyfob transmitters use a 27A 12V battery. If the remote's range decreases or the indicator light on the remote does not illuminate, replace the battery. The battery can be replaced after disassembling the keyfob.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
8. Troubleshooting Common Issues
- Light does not respond to remote:
- Check if the receiver has power.
- Ensure the transmitter battery is not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Verify that the transmitter is correctly programmed to the receiver for the desired mode. Try re-programming.
- Check for strong electromagnetic interference in the area.
- Ensure the remote is within the effective range (50 meters in open area). Walls and obstacles can reduce range.
- Light turns on/off unexpectedly:
- This may indicate interference from other RF devices.
- Ensure no other remote is accidentally triggering the receiver.
- Consider resetting the receiver and re-programming only the desired transmitters.
- Receiver indicator light not on:
- Check the power supply to the receiver.
- Verify wiring connections are secure and correct.
