4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The ThermoPro TP152 comes with 2 AAA batteries included. To install the batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4.2 Placement Options
The TP152 offers flexible placement options to suit your needs:
- Table-top Stand: Use the integrated foldable stand on the back of the unit to place it on any flat surface, such as a desk, shelf, or nightstand.
- Wall Mount: Utilize the hanging hole on the back to mount the unit on a wall using a nail or screw (not included).
- Magnetic Attachment: The unit features magnets on its back, allowing it to be securely attached to metal surfaces like refrigerators or magnetic boards.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Display Overview
The large LCD display shows the current temperature, humidity, and time. The temperature is displayed in either Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F), and humidity is shown as a percentage (RH%).
5.2 Temperature and Humidity Readings
The device continuously monitors and updates temperature and humidity readings every 10 seconds, ensuring you have the most current data for your environment.
5.3 Max/Min Records
The TP152 records the highest (MAX) and lowest (MIN) temperature and humidity values over the past 24 hours. To view these records:
- Press the MAX/MIN button once to display the maximum temperature and humidity recorded.
- Press the MAX/MIN button again to display the minimum temperature and humidity recorded.
- Press the MAX/MIN button a third time to return to the current readings.

5.4 Setting the Clock
To set the time and switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats:
- Press and hold the SET button for 2 seconds to enter SET MODE. The time format (12H/24H) will start flashing.
- Press the ▲ or ▼ buttons to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.
- Press the SET button again. The hour digit will start flashing. Use the ▲ or ▼ buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press the SET button again. The minute digit will start flashing. Use the ▲ or ▼ buttons to adjust the minute.
- Press the SET button one more time to confirm and exit SET MODE. The settings will also be automatically saved if no button is pressed for 20 seconds.

5.5 Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F)
To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units:
- Press the °F/°C button located on the front of the unit. The temperature display will toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To clean your ThermoPro TP152, simply wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
6.2 Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or the readings are inconsistent, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1 to replace the two AAA batteries.
