4. Operating Instructions
The Merax House Bed features an intelligent design that allows it to transition between a single and a double bed configuration.

5. Maintenance
Proper maintenance will prolong the life and appearance of your Merax House Bed.
- Cleaning: Wipe the wooden surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the wood finish.
- Dusting: Regularly dust the bed frame with a dry, soft cloth to prevent dust buildup.
- Inspections: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and connections to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain structural integrity and safety.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause wood to fade or crack. Position the bed away from direct sunlight or use curtains to protect it.
- Humidity Control: Maintain a stable room temperature and humidity level to prevent wood from warping or cracking.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Merax House Bed, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Squeaking Noises: Squeaking often indicates loose connections. Check and tighten all screws and bolts on the bed frame and slatted bases. Ensure the bed is on a level surface.
- Difficulty Expanding/Retracting: Ensure the area around the extendable bed is clear of obstructions. Check if the rollers or glides on the extendable frame are clean and free of debris.
- Unstable Frame: If the bed feels wobbly, re-check all assembly connections. Ensure all screws are fully tightened and that the bed is placed on a flat, even floor.
- Damaged Parts: If any part is damaged or missing upon arrival, do not attempt to assemble or use the bed. Contact customer support immediately for replacement parts.
