2. Assemble the Main Bed Frame: Connect the side rails and end panels using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten screws until the frame is stable.
3. Install Slatted Bases: Place the primary slatted base into the main frame. Secure the slats using the designated fasteners and metal support strips.
4. Attach Guardrails: Secure the three-sided guardrails to the main bed frame.
5. Construct the House Structure: Assemble the roof-shaped frame components and attach them to the bed posts.
6. Assemble the Extendable Bed Frame: Construct the secondary bed frame, which slides underneath the main bed. This frame also includes its own slatted base.
7. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place and aligned, fully tighten all screws and bolts. Apply the provided screw covers.

4. Operating Instructions

The Merax House Bed features an intelligent design that allows it to transition between a single and a double bed configuration.

4.1. Single Bed Configuration

In its compact form, the bed functions as a single bed, with the secondary slatted base stored neatly underneath the main frame. This is ideal for everyday use and smaller spaces.

4.2. Expanding to Double Bed Configuration

To convert the bed into a double sleeping area:

1. Ensure there is sufficient clear space around the bed to extend the secondary frame.
2. Gently pull the lower, extendable slatted base outwards from underneath the main bed frame.
3. Continue pulling until the secondary frame is fully extended and aligned with the main bed frame, creating a larger sleeping surface.
4. Place an appropriate mattress on the extended section to complete the double bed setup.
