4. Setup and Assembly

Step 4.1: Attach the Main Column to the Base

1. Carefully unbox all components and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Attach the main support column to the glass base using the provided screws and tools. Ensure the column is oriented correctly as per the diagrams.

Step 4.2: Install the Adjustable Media Shelf

1. Slide the adjustable media shelf onto the main column at your desired height. Secure it in place with the designated fasteners.

Step 4.3: Attach TV Mounting Brackets to Your TV

1. Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
2. Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's mounting holes.
3. Attach the left and right TV mounting brackets to the back of your TV. Ensure they are level and securely fastened. Do not overtighten.

Step 4.4: Mount the TV to the Stand

1. With assistance, carefully lift your TV with the attached brackets.
2. Hook the TV mounting brackets onto the main support column's mounting plate. Ensure the brackets are fully seated and the TV is secure.
3. Engage any safety locks or screws on the mounting plate to prevent accidental dislodgement.

Step 4.5: Cable Management

1. Route your TV and device cables through the integrated cable management system within the main column.
2. Use the provided clips or covers to secure the cables neatly and out of sight.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Height Adjustment

The Goobay 58526 TV Stand offers three height settings for optimal viewing. To adjust the height:

1. With assistance, carefully lift the TV slightly to relieve pressure on the height adjustment mechanism.
2. Locate the height adjustment pins or screws on the main column.
3. Adjust the TV to one of the three available height settings: 1342 mm, 1400 mm, or 1458 mm (measured from the floor to the top of the column).
4. Ensure the TV is securely locked into the desired height position before releasing it.

5.2. Swivel Function

The TV stand allows for a 350 swivel range (17.50 left and 17.50 right) to provide flexible viewing angles.

• Gently grasp the sides of your TV and rotate it to the desired angle.
• The swivel mechanism is designed for smooth movement. Do not force the TV beyond its intended range.
