Product Overview

The Joie i-Base Encore is an i-Size certified pivoting car seat base designed to simplify the installation and use of compatible Joie infant carriers and car seats. It allows for easy rotation of the car seat towards the vehicle door, facilitating child placement and removal. This base is compatible with the hush R129 carry cot, i-Size i-snug and i-gemm2 infant carriers, i-Level infant carrier, and the i-Harbour car seat.

Setup and Installation

Operating the i-Base Encore

1. Attaching a Compatible Car Seat

Once the i-Base Encore is securely installed, align your compatible Joie infant carrier or car seat with the base and push down firmly until it clicks into place. Verify that the indicators on the base turn green, confirming a secure attachment.

2. Using the Swivel Function

The i-Base Encore features a 360-degree swivel function for easy access to your child. To rotate the attached car seat, locate the swivel release lever (usually at the front of the base) and pull it. You can then rotate the car seat to face the vehicle door for easy child placement or removal, or to the desired rear-facing or forward-facing position for travel.

3. Detaching a Car Seat
