4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Flight Controls

Familiarize yourself with the remote control layout and basic functions:

  • Left Joystick: Controls altitude (up/down) and rotation (yaw left/right).
  • Right Joystick: Controls forward/backward movement and left/right strafing.
  • One-Key Takeoff/Landing: Press the designated button for automatic takeoff or landing.
  • Altitude Hold: The drone maintains a stable altitude automatically, making it easier to control.
  • Headless Mode: In this mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, simplifying control regardless of the drone's front direction.

4.2. Advanced Features

The TENSSENX A3 drone offers several intelligent flight modes:

  • Optical Flow Positioning: Utilizes a downward-facing camera to maintain stable hovering, especially indoors or in areas with clear ground patterns.
  • Voice Control: Control the drone with simple voice commands through the app.
  • Gesture Control: Perform specific hand gestures in front of the camera to trigger photo or video recording.
  • Customized Flight Path: Draw a desired flight path on your smartphone screen, and the drone will follow it automatically.
  • Point of Interest: The drone can orbit around a designated point, capturing footage from all angles.

4.4. Flight Environment Considerations

For optimal performance and safety, operate the drone in open, clear areas away from obstacles, people, and animals. Avoid flying in strong winds, rain, or extreme temperatures. The drone's lightweight design makes it susceptible to wind drift.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

Regularly clean the drone body and propellers with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water or harsh chemicals.

5.2. Propeller Replacement

Inspect propellers for cracks or damage before each flight. Replace damaged propellers immediately using the provided spare parts and screwdriver. Ensure the correct propeller (A or B) is installed on the corresponding motor.

5.3. Battery Care and Storage

To prolong battery life:

  • Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries.
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • If storing for extended periods, charge batteries to approximately 50% capacity.

6. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
