1. Introduction

The FIDECO Powered USB Hub (Model HKG07C) is a high-performance 7-port USB hub designed to expand your device connectivity. It features 4 USB-A ports and 3 USB-C ports, supporting data transfer speeds up to 10Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard). With its aluminum alloy design for efficient heat dissipation and a dedicated 12V/2A power adapter, it ensures stable operation and supports BC1.2 fast charging for compatible devices. Each port includes an independent on/off switch and LED indicator for convenient control.

3. Setup

1. Connect the Power Adapter: Plug the included 12V/2A power adapter into the DC 12V input port on the FIDECO USB Hub, then connect the adapter to a power outlet. The hub requires external power for full functionality, including data transfer and charging.

2. Connect to Your Computer: Use the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to connect the hub's USB-C input port to your computer's USB-C port. If your computer only has USB-A ports, use the included USB-C to USB-A adapter with the USB-C cable to connect the hub to a USB-A port on your computer.

3. Plug and Play: The FIDECO USB Hub is plug-and-play compatible with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems. No additional drivers are required.

4. Operating Instructions

1. Connecting Devices: Insert your USB-A or USB-C devices into the corresponding ports on the hub. The hub provides 4 USB-A ports and 3 USB-C ports.

2. Independent On/Off Switches: Each USB port has an independent on/off switch. Press the button next to a port to activate or deactivate it. A blue LED indicator next to each port will illuminate when the port is active.

3. Data Transfer: The hub supports data transfer speeds up to 10Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard). Connect your storage devices (e.g., USB flash drives, external hard drives) to the hub for high-speed data synchronization.

• No Power/Device Not Recognized:
  • Ensure the 12V/2A power adapter is securely connected to the hub and a working power outlet. The hub requires external power to function.
  • Verify that the USB cable connecting the hub to your computer is properly seated at both ends.
  • Check if the individual port's on/off switch is activated (blue LED should be lit).
  • Try connecting the hub to a different USB port on your computer.
• Slow Data Transfer Speed:
  • Ensure both the hub and your connected device support USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) or USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) speeds. Older USB 2.0 devices will operate at their maximum speed of 480Mbps.
  • Confirm that you are using the provided high-quality USB cable.
  • Avoid connecting too many high-bandwidth devices simultaneously if you experience slowdowns.
• Charging Issues:
  • Only one USB-A and one USB-C port support BC1.2 fast charging. Ensure you are using these specific ports for optimal charging.
  • Verify that your device supports BC1.2 charging.
  • Ensure the power adapter is connected and providing sufficient power.
• Audio Interference (Buzzing Sound):
  • Some audio devices may experience a buzzing sound when connected to a powered hub. This can sometimes be mitigated by ensuring all connections are secure and trying different ports or cables. If the issue persists, consider using a separate audio interface or connecting the audio device directly to your computer.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the hub. Avoid liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
