Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your air fryer, please refer to the following table before contacting customer service.

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Air fryer does not turn on. The appliance is not plugged in, or the power outlet is not working. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
Food is not cooked evenly. Basket is overcrowded, or food was not shaken/flipped. Cook food in smaller batches. Shake or flip food halfway through cooking.
Food is not crispy. Not enough oil, or basket is overcrowded. Lightly coat food with oil. Do not overcrowd the basket. Increase cooking time slightly.
White smoke comes from the appliance. Fat residue from previous use, or cooking fatty foods. Clean the basket and interior thoroughly. For fatty foods, place a piece of aluminum foil at the bottom of the basket to catch excess oil.
Appliance emits a strange odor during first use. Normal for new appliances. Run the air fryer empty for 10-15 minutes at 180°C (350°F) in a well-ventilated area. The odor will dissipate.
