3. Setup and Installation
The iMaihom 130W LED Flood Light is designed for hardwired installation. Ensure you have a suitable junction box (minimum 4 inches / 10 cm diameter) and appropriate wiring before beginning.
Included Components:
- iMaihom 130W LED Flood Light Fixture
- Mounting Hardware (screws, anchors, wire nuts, safety cable)
- Black Silicone Cap (for switch-controlled mode)
Installation Steps:
- Turn off Power: Before starting, ensure the power to the installation area is completely turned off at the circuit breaker.
- Prepare Mounting Surface: This light can be mounted to a junction box on a wall or under eaves/soffits. Ensure the surface is sturdy enough to support the fixture.
- Attach Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to your existing junction box using the provided screws.
- Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to your household wiring:
- Connect the black wire (Live) from the fixture to the black wire from the junction box.
- Connect the white wire (Neutral) from the fixture to the white wire from the junction box.
- Connect the green wire (Ground) from the fixture to the green or bare copper wire from the junction box.
- Secure Fixture: Carefully tuck the wires into the junction box and attach the light fixture to the mounting plate, ensuring it is firmly secured.
- Adjust Light Heads: Loosen the adjustment screws on each light head to position them as desired. Tighten the screws once adjusted.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

4. Operating Instructions
The iMaihom 130W LED Flood Light offers two operating modes:
4.1. Dusk to Dawn Mode (Default)
This mode utilizes the built-in sensitive photocell sensor to automatically control the light. The light will turn on when ambient light levels drop at dusk and turn off when daylight returns at dawn. No manual intervention is required.

4.2. Switch Controlled Mode
To operate the flood light using a traditional wall switch, cover the photocell sensor with the provided black silicone cap. This will bypass the automatic dusk to dawn function, allowing you to manually turn the light on and off via your wall switch.

4.3. Adjusting Light Heads
The three light heads are independently adjustable. Loosen the screws at the base of each head, pivot them to your desired angle (up to 350° horizontally and 135° vertically for the center head, 90° for side heads), and then securely tighten the screws to lock them in place. This allows for wide and customizable light coverage.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your iMaihom LED Flood Light.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the light fixture and photocell sensor with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the photocell is clear for proper dusk to dawn operation.
- Inspection: Annually inspect the wiring and connections for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Ensure all mounting screws are tight.
- Heat Dissipation: Ensure the fin-shaped aluminum housing remains clear of obstructions to allow for proper heat dissipation. This helps maintain the LED's lifespan.
- Weather Protection: While IP65 rated, extreme weather conditions may require additional checks. After heavy storms, inspect the fixture for any dislodged components or damage.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your iMaihom LED Flood Light, refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on at night. | 1. Power is off. 2. Photocell sensor is obstructed or faulty. 3. Wiring issue. | 1. Check circuit breaker and wall switch. 2. Clean the photocell sensor. Ensure no external light source (e.g., street light, other fixtures) is shining directly on it. If using switch-controlled mode, ensure the black cap is correctly installed. 3. Verify all wiring connections are secure. Consult a qualified electrician if unsure. |
| Light stays on during the day. | 1. Photocell sensor is obstructed or faulty. 2. Insufficient ambient light reaching the sensor. | 1. Clean the photocell sensor. Ensure no debris is covering it. If using dusk-to-dawn mode, ensure the transparent cap is correctly installed. 2. Relocate the fixture to an area with more direct daylight, or ensure no overhangs are blocking light from the sensor. |
| Light flickers or cycles on/off rapidly. | 1. Photocell sensor interference. 2. Loose wiring connection. 3. Power fluctuations. | 1. Ensure the photocell is not receiving intermittent light (e.g., from passing car headlights, reflections). If flickering persists, try replacing the transparent cap with the higher black cap, or add the EVA ring if included, as shown in Figure 4.3. 2. Check all wiring connections for tightness. 3. Consult an electrician to check for power supply issues. |
| Light output is dim. | 1. Dirt or debris on light heads. 2. Power supply issue. | 1. Clean the surface of the LED light heads. 2. Verify the fixture is receiving adequate voltage. |
If the problem persists after trying these solutions, please contact iMaihom customer support.
