Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your PawGiant Dog Kennel. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and use to ensure proper functionality and safety for your pet.
Setup
The PawGiant Dog Kennel is designed for straightforward assembly. For a visual guide, please refer to the official Installation Manual (PDF).
Unpacking and Component Identification
Carefully unpack all components and verify against the packing list. Ensure all panels, brackets, and hardware are present.
Panel Orientation
Each panel has a distinct top and bottom. The bottom frame of the panels is approximately one inch higher than the top frame. This design ensures proper fit and stability. The panels are designed to be versatile, allowing for various configurations such as a square kennel or a linear fence, depending on your needs.

Figure 2: Panels can be arranged to form different shapes, such as a square enclosure or a longer fence.
Bracket Assembly
The kennel utilizes two types of brackets: one curved and one straight. For each connection point between panels, you will need to use one of each type. This ensures the wing bolt can properly secure the panels together. Ensure the wing bolts are faced downwards to prevent damage to the roof cover.

Roof Assembly
The roof structure consists of long middle brackets and short brackets. The long middle brackets squish together, and the short brackets squeeze onto these. The poles then insert into these connections. Ensure all connections are secure to provide a stable roof structure.
Ground Anchoring
For outdoor use, the kennel includes reinforced ground nails to secure it, preventing movement or tipping. For indoor use, non-slip rubber feet are provided to protect flooring.

Weather Protection

Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your PawGiant Dog Kennel.
Cleaning
Clean the metal frame and panels with a mild soap and water solution. Rinse thoroughly and dry to prevent water spots. The waterproof Oxford cloth roof cover can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Rust Prevention
The kennel features an epoxy coating to prevent rust and corrosion. Periodically inspect the frame for any signs of wear or damage to the coating. Touch up any exposed areas with appropriate rust-resistant paint if necessary.
Roof Cover Care
While the roof cover is UV-resistant, prolonged exposure to extreme weather may affect its lifespan. Consider removing the cover during severe storms or prolonged periods of non-use to preserve its integrity.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your PawGiant Dog Kennel, please refer to the following common solutions. For more complex problems, consult the official Installation Manual or contact customer support.
Panels Not Aligning Properly
- Ensure you are using one curved and one straight bracket at each connection point. Incorrect bracket usage can lead to misalignment.
- Verify that the panels are oriented correctly (bottom frame higher than the top frame).
- Loosen all bolts slightly, adjust panels for proper alignment, then re-tighten securely.
Door Latch Issues
- Check if the door frame is properly aligned with the main kennel frame. Adjust panel connections if needed.
- Ensure no debris is obstructing the latch mechanism.
Kennel Movement/Instability (Outdoor Use)
- Confirm that all ground nails are fully inserted into the ground.
- Ensure the ground surface is level. Uneven surfaces can affect stability.
