Introduction

Thank you for choosing the ODK Computer Desk. This manual provides detailed instructions for assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure you get the most out of your new desk. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly.

Safety Information

Important Safety Warnings:

• This desk is made of sturdy materials and has adjustable leg pads to ensure stability on uneven surfaces.
• Always ensure the desk is properly assembled and anchored to the wall if necessary to prevent tipping over.
• For ease and safety, we recommend two people for assembly.
• Please take out the package and check all parts are included and in good condition before assembly.
• The entire assembly process takes about half to one hour.
• Please also note the warm tips that appear during the installation process.

Before you begin, ensure all parts are present and in good condition. Refer to the included hardware pack for specific screw types and quantities.

Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have two people for certain steps.

Step 1: Install Adjustable Foot Pads

Attach the adjustable foot pads (1) to the bottom of parts D, M, and N. Ensure they are securely threaded into the leg ends.

Step 2: Assemble the Main Frame

Connect parts D and E using screws (3). Pay close attention to the orientation of part E as indicated by the arrows in the video to avoid incorrect assembly. Then, install parts M and N onto part E using screws (3). Note the correct direction of M and N as shown in the video.

Step 3: Install Side Supports (Part C)

Attach part C to the main frame using screws (3). Ensure a secure fit.

Step 4: Install Shelves (Part L)

Install the shelves (Part L) into the side frames using screws (13). There are two possible positions for the shelves; choose your preferred configuration (left or right side) for the removable shelf.

Step 5: Attach Crossbars (Part F)

Install the crossbars (Part F) using screws (2). Ensure they are positioned correctly for stability.

Step 6: Install Drawer Slides (Parts 9 & 10)

Attach part 9 to part G using screws (8). These are self-tapping screws, so tighten them firmly. Repeat for part 10 on the other side of part G. Pay attention to the sliding direction of the slide rail during installation.

Step 7: Attach Main Desktop (Part H)

Install the main desktop (Part H) onto the assembled frame using screws (3). Use the correct screws to avoid damaging the board. Initially, do not completely tighten the screws to allow for minor adjustments, then tighten them fully.

Step 8: Install Keyboard Tray (Part I)

Install the keyboard tray (Part I) using screws (8). Refer to the video for the correct position and orientation.

Step 9: Install Cable Grommet (Part 11)

Insert the cable grommet (Part 11) into the designated hole on the desktop.

Step 10: Assemble Monitor Stand (Part A)

Attach the supports (Part B) to the monitor stand (Part A) using screws (3). Ensure the supports are correctly aligned. Once assembled, carefully place the monitor stand onto the main desktop (Part K) and secure it with screws (3).

Step 11: Assemble and Insert Drawers

Insert part K into part J to form the drawer box. Attach the handles (5) to the drawers using screws (6). Tighten the screws after the assembly is complete. Finally, slide the assembled drawers into the desk's drawer compartments.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and appearance of your ODK Computer Desk, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish.
• Spills: Clean up spills immediately to prevent staining or damage to the MDF surface.
• Stability Check: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.
• Avoid Excessive Weight: Do not place excessively heavy items on the desk or shelves beyond their intended capacity.
• Sunlight Exposure: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can cause fading or warping over time.
