4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside or rear of the safe.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Initial Finger Vein Registration

  3. The indicator light will confirm a successful scan. Remove your finger.
  4. Repeat the scanning process for the same finger 3-5 times, slightly adjusting the angle each time, to create a robust vein pattern profile.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 for any other fingers you wish to register. The safe can store up to 50 finger vein IDs.
  6. Press the registration button again to exit registration mode.

4.3 Keypad Code Setup

  1. With the safe open, press the registration button.
  2. Enter your desired 4-8 digit code on the keypad.
  3. Press the '#' button to confirm.
  4. Re-enter the same code and press '#' again to verify.
  5. The indicator light will confirm successful code registration.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Opening with Finger Vein Recognition

  1. Place a registered finger flat and fully into the finger vein scanner.
  2. If the vein pattern is recognized, the safe lid will automatically open.

5.2 Opening with Keypad

  1. Enter your registered 4-8 digit code on the keypad.
  2. Press the '#' button.
  3. If the code is correct, the safe lid will automatically open.

5.3 Opening with Emergency Key

In case of battery failure or forgotten codes, the safe can be opened using the backup keys.

  1. Locate the keyhole on the front panel of the safe.
  2. Insert one of the backup keys into the keyhole.
  3. Turn the key clockwise to unlock the safe. The lid will open manually.
