3. Setup Instructions
Before first use, please wash all components thoroughly. The glass beaker, filter, and plunger are dishwasher safe. The lid should be hand washed.

4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to brew coffee or tea using your French press:
- Step 1: Add Grounds/Leaves. Put 2 rounded tablespoons of coarse-ground coffee or desired amount of tea leaves into the carafe.
- Step 2: Add Hot Water. Wait for 10-15 seconds after the water has boiled before pouring into the carafe. Leave a minimum of 1 inch of space at the top.
- Step 3: Stir. Mix the coffee powder or tea leaves with a plastic or wooden spoon.
- Step 4: Place Plunger. Place the plunger unit on top of the pot. Turn the lid to close off the pour spout opening. Do not press down yet. Wait for 4 minutes for coffee to brew.
- Step 5: Press. Gently press down the plunger until it reaches the bottom. Do not press too quickly or with excessive force.
