1. Important Safety Information

4. Charging the Jump Starter

It is recommended to fully charge the jump starter before first use and after each jump start.

4.1. Charging via USB-C (PD 100W)

1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the jump starter's USB-C In/Out port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible PD 100W wall charger (not included) or the SPEED CHARGE Wall Charger if provided.
3. The digital display will show the charging status. A full charge takes less than 1 hour.
4. A 5-minute charge can provide enough power for an emergency boost.

4.2. Charging via 12V DC Adapter (Max 60W)

1. Connect the provided 12V adapter to the jump starter's DC IN port.
2. Plug the 12V adapter into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
3. The digital display will indicate charging.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Jump Starting a Vehicle

The Jomgand JQ3500 can jump start 12V vehicles with up to 10L Gas and 8.5L Diesel engines.

1. Ensure the jump starter is sufficiently charged.
2. Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all accessories.
3. Connect the red (+) smart clamp to the vehicle's positive (+) battery terminal.
4. Connect the black (-) smart clamp to the vehicle's negative (-) battery terminal or a solid, unpainted metal part of the engine block.
5. Ensure the clamps are securely attached and the smart clamp indicator light is green.
6. Start the vehicle's engine.
7. Once the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the black (-) clamp, then the red (+) clamp from the vehicle battery.
8. Disconnect the smart clamps from the jump starter unit.

Pre-Heat Technology:

For extreme cold environments (down to -40°F), the JQ3500 features pre-heat technology to ensure reliable starting performance. The unit will automatically engage pre-heating if needed.

Force Start Function:

If your vehicle's battery is completely dead or missing, the smart clamps may not detect the battery voltage. In this scenario, you can use the Force Start Function:

• Connect the smart clamps to the vehicle battery as described above.
• Simultaneously press and hold the Power button and the Light button on the jump starter for 3 seconds.
• The unit will enter Force Start mode. Proceed to start your vehicle.
• Disconnect the clamps immediately after the vehicle starts.

5.2. Using as a Portable Power Bank

The JQ3500 can charge various electronic devices.

• USB-C Output (PD 100W): Connect your USB-C compatible device (e.g., laptop, tablet, smartphone) to the USB-C In/Out port using a USB-C cable.
• USB-A Output (QC3.0; 18W): Connect your USB-A compatible device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) to the USB-A Out port using a USB-A to Type-C cable or your device's charging cable.

5.3. Using the LED Flashlight

The integrated LED flashlight has three modes:

1. Press the Light button once for a steady beam.
2. Press the Light button a second time for SOS mode (flashing pattern).
3. Press the Light button a third time for Strobe mode (rapid flashing).
4. Press the Light button a fourth time to turn off the flashlight.

6. Maintenance and Storage

• Clean the unit with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
• Store the jump starter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Recharge the unit every 3-6 months, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
