4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage.
- Placement: Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in the desired room. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around the unit for proper airflow. The integrated swivel castors allow for easy repositioning.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements.
- Initial Check: Before first use, ensure the water tank is correctly inserted and the air filter is clean.

5.1 Basic Operation

6.2 Cleaning the Air Filter
- The air filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., every two weeks or as needed).
- Remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
- Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or wash it gently with warm water and mild detergent.
- Allow the filter to dry completely before reinserting it.
6.3 Continuous Drainage (Optional)
For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, you can connect a drain hose (not included) to the continuous drain outlet at the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.
