Refilling Birdseed

Monitor the seed level regularly. Refill the 1.5L capacity container as needed to ensure a continuous food supply for visiting birds.

Battery Management

The feeder's battery life can extend up to 6 months. Monitor the battery level via the app and recharge as necessary. Consider a separate solar panel for reduced charging frequency.

Troubleshooting

  • Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues: Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz signal. The feeder does not support 5GHz networks. Verify the feeder is within range of your Wi-Fi signal.
  • No Bird Detections: Check the camera's field of view and ensure it's not obstructed. Verify motion detection settings in the app.
  • Feeder Not Holding Charge: Ensure the charging cable is properly connected. If using a solar panel, confirm it is clean and receiving adequate sunlight.
  • General Performance: If issues persist, try restarting the feeder and your Wi-Fi router. Consult the Birdfy app's help section or the manufacturer's support resources for further assistance.

Important Information

Avoid using food that may harm birds. Secure the feeder to prevent access by larger animals. Place the feeder in a safe location to avoid potential hazards.
