Setup

Charging the Battery

The lithium-ion battery pack is shipped with a low charge. It is recommended to fully charge the battery before initial use to ensure maximum runtime.

1. Connect the charger to a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
2. Slide the battery pack into the charger. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
3. Once fully charged, the indicator light will change (refer to charger manual for specific light patterns). Disconnect the battery from the charger.

Attaching the Battery

To attach the battery pack to either the air compressor or the high-volume inflator, align the battery with the tool's battery port and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.

Operating Instructions

Using the Portable Air Compressor (24V-AJC)

The air compressor is ideal for inflating tires, sports balls, and other items requiring high pressure.

1. Select Adapter: For car/bike tires, use the pre-attached air chuck. For sports balls, attach the sport ball needle. For Presta valves, use the Presta valve adapter.
2. Connect to Item: Securely attach the appropriate adapter to the item to be inflated. For tires, press the air chuck onto the valve stem and flip the lever to lock it in place.
3. Set Pressure: Turn on the compressor. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the digital display to set the desired PSI. The compressor features an automatic shut-off at the preset pressure.
4. Start Inflation: Press the trigger to begin inflation. The digital display will show the current pressure.
5. Monitor: The compressor will automatically stop once the preset pressure is reached.
6. Disconnect: Release the trigger, then carefully disconnect the adapter from the item.

Using the High-Volume Inflator (24V-AJV)

The high-volume inflator is perfect for quickly inflating and deflating larger items like air mattresses, pool floats, and rafts.

1. Select Adapter: Choose one of the three tethered inflation adapters (0.5", 0.19", 0.17") that best fits the item's valve.
2. Inflation: Insert the chosen adapter into the inflation port of the item. Press the trigger to begin inflation.
3. Deflation: To deflate, attach the adapter to the deflation port on the inflator (usually located opposite the inflation port). Insert the adapter into the item's valve and press the trigger to rapidly remove air.
