  2. Connect Sources: Connect your microphones and instruments as described in the Setup section.
  3. Set Gain: For each active channel, slowly increase the GAIN knob while speaking into the microphone or playing the instrument. Observe the PEAK indicator; it should only flash occasionally on the loudest peaks. If it stays lit, reduce the GAIN.
  4. Adjust Channel Volume: Slowly raise the channel fader for each active channel to the desired level in the mix.
  5. Adjust Main Output: Gradually raise the L-MAIN-R faders to achieve the desired overall volume from your main speakers.

5.2 Equalization (EQ)

Each mono channel features a 3-band EQ (HIGH, MID, LOW) to shape the tone of individual inputs:

  • HIGH: Adjusts the high frequencies (treble). Turn clockwise to boost, counter-clockwise to cut.
  • MID: Adjusts the mid-range frequencies.
  • LOW: Adjusts the low frequencies (bass).

Use the Graphic Equalizer in the master section to fine-tune the overall sound of your mix.

5.3 Effects (EFF)

The Micfuns M6 includes a built-in digital effect processor:

  1. Send to Effect: For each channel you want to apply effects to, turn up the EFF knob on that channel.
  2. Adjust Effect Type/Parameter: Use the DELAY and REVERB knobs in the master effect section to select and adjust the desired effect.
  3. Master Effect Level: Use the EFFECT fader in the master section to control the overall volume of the applied effects.

Use the PFL (Pre-Fader Listen) button on each channel and the PHONE output to monitor individual channels or the main mix through headphones without affecting the main output.

  • Press the PFL button on a channel to listen to its signal before the channel fader.
  • Adjust the PHONE knob in the master section to control the headphone volume.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe the mixer's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
