Important Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions carefully before using the Deerma F500 Ultrasonic Humidifier. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, water-resistant surface.

Product Overview

Setup and Assembly
Unpack the Humidifier: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present: main unit, water tank, and top cover/mist nozzle.
Place the Unit: Position the humidifier on a flat, stable, and water-resistant surface, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and electronic devices. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper mist dispersion.
Fill the Water Tank:
- Remove the top cover of the water tank.
- Fill the water tank with clean, cool tap water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup.
- Replace the top cover securely.

Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off: Rotate the control knob clockwise to turn the humidifier on. Continue rotating to increase mist output. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease mist output and turn off the unit.

Adjust Mist Direction: The mist nozzle on top of the unit can be rotated 360 degrees to direct the mist flow as desired.
Low Water Indicator: The humidifier will automatically shut off when the water level is too low. Refill the water tank to resume operation.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential to prevent mineral buildup and ensure optimal performance and hygiene of your humidifier. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
Daily Maintenance:
- Empty and rinse the water tank daily.
- Wipe the inside of the water tank and the base with a clean, damp cloth.
Weekly Cleaning:
Clean the Water Tank:
- Remove the water tank from the base.
- Pour 2-3 tablespoons of white vinegar into the tank and fill with water. Let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
- Use a soft brush or cloth to clean the inside of the tank.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.

Clean the Base Unit and Transducer:
- Pour a small amount of white vinegar onto the transducer (the small metal disc) and allow it to soak for 5-10 minutes.
- Gently wipe away any mineral buildup with a soft brush or cotton swab. Do not scrape the transducer.
- Wipe the entire base unit with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Activated Carbon Filter Maintenance: The activated carbon filter helps purify the air. While it's not typically washable, inspect it regularly. If it appears clogged or discolored, consider replacing it according to manufacturer recommendations. The filter is designed to adsorb impurities.

Storage:
Before storing, ensure the humidifier is completely clean and dry. Store in a cool, dry place.
