3. Product Overview and Features

3.1. Handheld Mode

The controller features a telescoping center that securely clamps your phone, allowing for comfortable handheld gaming. It fits devices up to 7.13 inches (181.1mm).

4. Setup

4.1. Phone Placement

To place your phone in the controller, gently pull the right side of the controller outwards to extend the telescoping clamp. Carefully insert your phone into the left side of the clamp, then release the right side to secure your phone. Ensure your phone is centered and stable.

4.2. Initial Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the controller for 3 seconds to turn it on. The LED below the Xbox button will light up.
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button (located on the top right side of the controller) for 5 seconds. The LED will flash rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your mobile device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
  4. Select "MOGA XP7-X Plus" from the list. The LED on the controller will turn solid when connected.

4.3. Wired Connection

To use the controller in wired mode, connect the provided USB-C cable to the controller's USB-C port and the other end to your PC or mobile device. Ensure the mode switch on the bottom of the controller is set to USB. This mode is ideal for ensuring a lag-free connection and conserving controller battery life.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Mappable Advanced Gaming Buttons

  1. Press and hold the green Program button (located on the bottom of the controller) for 2 seconds. The LED will flash, indicating assignment mode.
  2. Select the main controller button (e.g., A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, RT) you wish to map.
  3. Select the Advanced Gaming Button (AGB) on the back of the controller you wish to assign it to. The LED will stop flashing, confirming the button has been mapped.

5.2. Wireless Charging Function

To activate wireless charging, ensure your phone is compatible with wireless charging and properly seated in the controller. Flip the charging switch (located on the top left side of the controller) to the 'on' position. Your device should begin charging.

5.3. Checking Battery Level

Press the power button on the top left side of the controller. The LEDs will illuminate to indicate the current battery charge level.

5.4. Switching Connectivity Modes

The controller supports both Bluetooth wireless and USB wired modes. Use the toggle switch on the bottom of the controller to select your preferred connection method.

6. Maintenance

Keep the controller clean by wiping it with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not attempt to disassemble the controller, as this will void the warranty.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Controller not connecting: Ensure the controller is charged and in the correct mode (Bluetooth or USB). For Bluetooth, ensure your device's Bluetooth is on and the controller is in pairing mode. Try restarting both the controller and your device.
  • Wireless charging not working: Verify your device supports wireless charging and is correctly positioned on the charging pad. Ensure the wireless charging switch on the controller is activated.
  • Buttons not responding: Check if the controller's battery is low. If using wired mode, ensure the cable is securely connected. If a specific button is mapped, try re-mapping it.
  • Lag or input delay: For optimal performance, use wired mode. If using Bluetooth, ensure there are no obstructions between the controller and your device, and minimize interference from other wireless devices.
