4. Setup

4.1 Initial Steps

  1. Format Micro SD Card: Before first use, it is crucial to format the included 32GB Micro SD card within the camera. Navigate to the camera's menu, find 'Format', and confirm. This ensures optimal performance and compatibility.
  2. Insert Battery and Micro SD Card: Open the battery compartment. Insert the charged Lithium Ion battery, ensuring correct polarity. Then, insert the formatted Micro SD card into its designated slot until it clicks into place.

4.2 Charging the Battery

Use the provided dual charger and Type-C cable to charge the batteries. Connect the charger to a power source, insert the batteries, and wait for the charging indicator to show completion. Ensure batteries are fully charged before extended use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power button (13) to turn the camera on or off.
  • Mode Dial: Rotate the mode dial to select between various shooting modes such as Timed Photo, Auto Photo, Normal Photo, Slow Motion, Video + Photo, Normal Video, Loop Recording, Continuous Shooting, and Time-Lapse Recording.

5.2 Photography Features

  • 56MP CMOS Sensor Image Quality: The camera features a 56-megapixel CMOS sensor, delivering high-resolution images with excellent detail. This allows for clear and vibrant photographs, suitable for various applications.

5.4 Connectivity & Playback

  • WiFi Connectivity: Connect your camera to a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi using the 'XDV PRO' app. This allows for wireless transfer of photos and videos, remote control of the camera, and easy sharing to social media.

6. Maintenance
