1. Introduction

The PEIOUS Ergonomic Rollerball Mouse is designed to provide a comfortable and efficient computing experience. Featuring a thumb-controlled trackball, RGB backlighting, and versatile connectivity options (2.4G USB and Bluetooth), this mouse aims to reduce wrist strain and enhance productivity across multiple devices including iPad, Mac, and Windows PC.

3. Product Overview

1. Left Button: Standard left-click function.
2. Right Button: Standard right-click function.
3. Forward Button: Navigates forward in web browsers or file explorers.
4. Backward Button: Navigates backward in web browsers or file explorers.
5. Scroll Wheel: Scrolls vertically, also functions as a middle-click button.
6. Light Switch Button: Toggles RGB lighting modes or turns off the lighting.
7. Trackball: Thumb-operated ball for cursor movement.
8. DPI Button: Adjusts cursor sensitivity (DPI settings).
9. Power Switch: Turns the mouse On or Off.
10. USB Receiver: Stores the 2.4G wireless dongle.

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Mouse

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the mouse. Connect the included Type-C charging cable to the mouse's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).

4.2 Connecting the Mouse

The PEIOUS Ergonomic Rollerball Mouse supports three connection modes: 2.4G wireless via USB receiver and two Bluetooth channels (BT1, BT2).

4.2.1 2.4G Wireless Connection

1. Locate the USB receiver stored in the compartment on the bottom of the mouse.
2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
3. Turn on the mouse using the Power Switch on the bottom.
4. Press the "Switch Device Button" on the bottom of the mouse until the indicator light for 2.4G (usually labeled with a USB icon) is active. The mouse should automatically connect.

4.2.2 Bluetooth Connection (BT1 / BT2)

1. Turn on the mouse using the Power Switch on the bottom.
2. Press the "Switch Device Button" on the bottom of the mouse to select either Bluetooth 1 (BT1) or Bluetooth 2 (BT2) mode. The corresponding indicator light will flash.
3. To enter pairing mode, press and hold the "Switch Device Button" for 3-5 seconds until the selected Bluetooth indicator light flashes rapidly.
4. On your device (computer, tablet, etc.), open Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
5. Select "BT+2.4GMS" or a similar name from the list of available devices to pair.
6. Once connected, the indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Thumb Control Trackball

The primary method of cursor control is the thumb-operated trackball. Use your thumb to roll the ball in any direction to move the cursor on the screen. This design minimizes arm and wrist movement, promoting ergonomic comfort.

5.2 DPI Adjustment

The DPI (Dots Per Inch) button allows you to adjust the cursor sensitivity. Press the DPI button (located on the bottom of the mouse, near the power switch) to cycle through different DPI settings. Higher DPI settings result in faster cursor movement, while lower settings provide more precise control.

5.3 RGB Backlight Control

The mouse features an RGB backlight strip. Use the "Light Switch Button" (located near the scroll wheel) to cycle through various lighting effects or to turn the backlight off. This allows for customization of the mouse's aesthetic to match your setup or preference.

5.4 Multi-Device Switching

Easily switch between up to three connected devices (one 2.4G wireless and two Bluetooth devices) by pressing the "Switch Device Button" on the bottom of the mouse. This feature is ideal for users who work across multiple computers or tablets.

6. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your trackball mouse, regular cleaning is recommended.

6.1 Cleaning the Trackball

1. Turn off the mouse using the Power Switch.
2. Gently push the trackball from the bottom opening (if available) or carefully pry it out from the top.
3. Use a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe the trackball clean.
4. Inspect the inside of the trackball housing for any dust or debris accumulated on the small sensor points. Use a cotton swab or a soft brush to carefully remove any buildup.
5. Once clean, reinsert the trackball into its housing until it clicks securely into place.

Note: Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials for cleaning, as they may damage the mouse surface or internal components.
