• Do not immerse the kettle, power base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the kettle for any damage.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the maximum level, boil it, and then discard the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the countertop. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operation

1. Fill the Kettle: Press the silver button on the lid to open it. Fill the kettle with fresh water between the MIN and MAX fill lines indicated inside the kettle. Close the lid securely.
2. Place on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto the power base.
3. Select Temperature (Optional):
   • Press the "SET" button repeatedly to cycle through the preset temperature options (104°F, 122°F, 140°F, 158°F, 176°F, 194°F). The selected temperature will be displayed on the handle's screen.
   • If no temperature is selected, the kettle will default to boiling water to 212°F (Boil).
4. Start Heating: Press the Power Button (circular icon) to begin the heating process. The indicator light will illuminate, and the current water temperature will be displayed.
5. Keep Warm Function: After selecting a temperature and starting the heating process, you can press the "KEEP WARM" button. The kettle will maintain the selected temperature for up to 12 hours.
6. Separate Memory Function: If you lift the kettle from its base during operation, the program will pause. You can return the kettle to the base within 3 minutes to resume the previous heating or keep warm cycle without needing to reset.
7. Completion: Once the desired temperature is reached, the kettle will automatically shut off and may beep to indicate completion. The indicator light will turn off.
8. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from the base and pour the hot water. The handle remains cool to the touch.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain the kettle's performance and extends its lifespan.

1. Daily Cleaning: Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
2. Interior Cleaning: The interior is 304 stainless steel and can be hand washed. Rinse thoroughly after each use.
3. Descaling (Monthly or as needed): Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up over time, especially in hard water areas.
   • Fill the kettle with 50ml of lemon juice or white vinegar and 500ml of water.
   • Boil the mixture and let it stand for 1 hour.
   • Discard the mixture and rinse the interior repeatedly with fresh water.
   • Wipe the interior with a soft cloth to remove any remaining deposits.
4. Storage: Ensure the kettle is clean and dry before storing. Wrap the cord around the base for neat storage.
