1. Introduction

The KYODOLED Electronic 60-Key Cabinet is a wall-mounted digital key safe designed for secure key management. Constructed from high-quality steel with an anti-scratch powder coating, it offers a robust solution for organizing and protecting up to 60 keys. This cabinet features a programmable electronic lock and includes override keys for emergency access. 3. Safety Information

Please read and adhere to the following safety guidelines to ensure safe operation and prevent damage:

  • Always ensure the cabinet is securely mounted to a sturdy wall using the provided anchor bolts.
  • Do not overload the cabinet beyond its intended capacity, as this may compromise its mounting stability.
  • Keep the cabinet away from direct heat sources, excessive moisture, and corrosive environments.
  • Do not use the cabinet for storing flammable materials or hazardous substances.
  • In case of power failure or forgotten digital code, always use the emergency override keys to access the cabinet. Store these keys in a secure location separate from the cabinet.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Initial Access

Upon receiving the package, note that the emergency override keys and this instruction manual are located outside the key box. Use one of the provided emergency keys to open the cabinet door for the first time. Inside, you will find the installation package and other accessories.

4.2 Battery Installation

The electronic lock requires four (4) AA sized, 1.5V batteries for operation. Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the cabinet door, typically behind a cover. Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.3 Wall Mounting

The key cabinet is designed for wall-mounted installation. Choose a suitable, sturdy wall location. Use the cabinet's pre-drilled holes as a template to mark drilling points on the wall. Drill pilot holes, insert the provided anchor bolts, and securely fasten the cabinet to the wall. Ensure the cabinet is level and firmly attached before use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Setting Your Personal Digital Code

The electronic lock allows you to set a personal 3 to 6 digit code. Refer to the specific instructions provided on the digital lock instruction guide included in your package for detailed steps on programming your code. Typically, this involves pressing a reset button inside the cabinet (with the door open), entering your desired code, and confirming it.

5.2 Opening the Cabinet

  • Using Digital Code: Enter your programmed 3 to 6 digit code on the keypad, then press the 'E' button to confirm. The cabinet door will unlock, allowing you to open it.
  • Using Emergency Override Keys: If you forget your digital code or if the batteries are depleted, insert one of the emergency override keys into the keyhole located on the keypad panel and turn it to unlock the cabinet.

5.3 Closing and Locking the Cabinet

To close the cabinet, simply push the door shut. The electronic locking mechanism will automatically engage, securing the door. Ensure the door is fully closed and locked before leaving the area.

5.4 Using the Key Drop Slot

The cabinet features a key drop slot on its side, measuring approximately 1.77" x 2.17" (4.7 x 5.5 cm). This slot allows for quick and convenient dropping or collecting of keys without needing to open the main door of the cabinet.

5.5 Organizing Keys

The cabinet is equipped with 60 key hooks and includes 60 key labels in various colors. Utilize these labels to categorize and identify keys efficiently, ensuring an organized key management system.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Clean the exterior of the cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish. Ensure the keypad is kept clean and free of debris for optimal functionality.

6.2 Battery Replacement

When the batteries are low, the electronic lock's LED indicator will typically signal a low power status (refer to the digital lock instruction guide for specific indications). Replace all four AA batteries simultaneously to ensure consistent power supply. Always use new, high-quality alkaline batteries for best performance.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Keypad Not Responding: Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
  • Forgotten Digital Code: Use one of the emergency override keys to open the cabinet. Once open, you can reset the digital code following the instructions in the digital lock guide.
  • Door Not Locking/Opening Properly: Ensure there are no obstructions preventing the door from closing fully. Check the locking bolts for any foreign objects. If using the digital code, ensure the correct code is entered and confirmed with the 'E' button.
