Steaming Garments

  1. Power On: Plug the steamer into a suitable power outlet. The indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Pre-heating: The steamer will heat up rapidly, ready for use in approximately 20 seconds. The indicator light may change or turn off when ready, depending on the model.
  3. Prepare Garment: Hang the garment on a hanger. Gently pull the fabric taut with one hand.
  4. Apply Steam: Hold the steamer upright, keeping the steam nozzle a few inches away from the fabric. Press the steam trigger/button to release steam. Move the steamer slowly over the fabric, from top to bottom.
  5. Vertical Steaming: The SteamPro is designed for effective vertical steaming, making it ideal for delicate fabrics, suits, and drapes.

After Use

  2. Unplug the steamer from the power outlet.
  3. Allow the steamer to cool down completely before emptying the water tank and storing.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Emptying the Water Tank

After each use, or before storing, ensure the water tank is emptied to prevent water stagnation and mineral buildup.

  1. Ensure the steamer is unplugged and completely cool.
  2. Remove the detachable water tank.
  3. Open the cap and pour out any remaining water.
  4. Allow the tank to air dry before reattaching or storing.

Cleaning the Steamer Body

Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Descaling (if necessary)

If you notice reduced steam output or mineral residue, descaling may be required. Consult the manufacturer's website or customer support for specific descaling instructions, as improper descaling can damage the unit. Using distilled water regularly minimizes the need for descaling.

Storage

Store the cooled and emptied steamer in its travel pouch in a dry, safe place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
