Getting Started: Initial Setup

Before first use, it is recommended to clean all removable parts and run a brewing cycle with water only to prime the system.

1. Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the coffee maker.
2. Wash the reusable filter, dual-sided scoop, and tumbler with lid and straw in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
3. Fill the water reservoir to the MAX line with fresh, cold water.
4. Place the empty tumbler on the drip tray.
5. Close the lid and select the 'Hot Brew' option without adding coffee grounds. Allow the full cycle to complete.
6. Discard the water from the tumbler. Your coffee maker is now ready for use.

Operating Instructions

The coffee maker offers various brewing options. Refer to the icons on the lid for quick guidance.

Brewing Hot Coffee

1. Fill the tumbler with water to the desired HOT BREW line (8, 12, or 16 oz.).
2. Pour the water into the reservoir at the back of the machine.
3. Add the desired amount of coffee grounds to the reusable filter using the dual-sided scoop. Place the filter in the brew basket.
4. Place your mug on the drip tray.
5. Close the lid and press the 'Hot Brew' button. The light will illuminate, indicating brewing is in progress.
6. Once brewing is complete, the light will turn off.

Brewing Iced Coffee

1. Fill the tumbler with water to the 'Water' line for iced coffee.
2. Pour the water into the reservoir at the back of the machine.
3. Add 1-2 scoops of coffee grounds to the reusable filter. Place the filter in the brew basket.
4. Fill the tumbler with ice to the 'Ice' line. Place the tumbler on the drip tray.
5. Close the lid and press the 'Over Ice' button. The light will illuminate, indicating brewing is in progress.
6. Once brewing is complete, the light will turn off.

Making Lattes & Cappuccinos

1. Fill the tumbler with water to the 'Latte/Capp' water line.
2. Pour the water into the reservoir at the back of the machine.
3. Add 2 scoops of coffee grounds to the reusable filter. Place the filter in the brew basket.
4. Place your mug on the drip tray.
5. Close the lid and press the 'Hot Latte' or 'Hot Capp' button. The light will illuminate, indicating brewing is in progress.
6. Once brewing is complete, the light will turn off.

Using the Automatic Milk Frother

The integrated frother creates hot or cold foam for your beverages.

1. Ensure the whisk is securely placed at the bottom of the frothing cup.
2. Pour milk (whole milk recommended for best results) into the frothing cup, not exceeding the MAX fill line.
3. Place the frothing cup onto the frother base.
4. Select 'Cold Foam' for cold beverages or 'Hot Latte' / 'Hot Capp' for hot frothed milk. The light will illuminate.
5. Once frothing is complete, the light will turn off. Pour the frothed milk into your coffee.

Pod-Free Brewing

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your coffee maker.

• Reusable Filter: After each use, remove the reusable filter and discard coffee grounds. Rinse the filter under running water. It is dishwasher safe (top rack only).
• Frothing Cup & Whisk: The frothing cup and whisk are removable and dishwasher safe (top rack only). For manual cleaning, wash with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
• Drip Tray: The drip tray and its cover can be removed for cleaning. Wash with warm, soapy water and rinse.
• Water Reservoir: The water reservoir is not removable. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth.
• Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Coffee not brewing: Ensure the water reservoir has enough water, the lid is properly closed, and the brew basket is correctly inserted.
• Frother not working: Check that the frothing cup is correctly placed on the base and the whisk is inserted. Ensure milk is within the MIN/MAX fill lines.
• Weak coffee: Use more coffee grounds or a finer grind. Ensure the water-to-coffee ratio is correct.
• Overflowing: Do not exceed the MAX fill lines for water or milk. Ensure your cup/tumbler is large enough for the selected brew size.
