Introduction

The Pure Enrichment PureRelief Cordless Lumbar and Abdominal Heating Wrap provides portable heat therapy for various body areas. This device features a rechargeable battery for cordless operation, multiple heat settings, and a soft micromink fabric for comfort. It also includes an optional gel pack for hot or cold therapy.

Setup Instructions

1. Charging the Battery Pack

1. Connect the power adapter to the rechargeable battery pack.
2. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
3. Allow the battery pack to fully charge before first use. The charging indicator light will change to indicate a full charge.

2. Attaching the Heating Wrap

1. Place the heating wrap around the desired area (lumbar, abdomen, shoulders, knees, or arms).
2. Secure the wrap using the adjustable strap and multiple touchpoints for a comfortable and snug fit.
3. Insert the charged battery pack into the designated pocket on the wrap.

3. Preparing the Hot/Cold Gel Pack (Optional)

• For Hot Therapy: Warm the gel pack in a microwave according to its specific instructions (usually short intervals).
• For Cold Therapy: Place the gel pack in a freezer until desired coldness is achieved.
• Insert the prepared gel pack into the built-in gel pack pocket on the heating wrap. This allows for hot/cold therapy without using battery power.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On and Adjusting Heat Settings

1. Ensure the battery pack is securely connected and charged.
2. Press the power button on the control panel to turn on the heating wrap.
3. Cycle through the 4 heat settings by pressing the power button repeatedly until your desired temperature is reached. The heat settings range from 110°F to 140°F.
4. The heating wrap provides up to 2 hours of cordless heat on a full charge, depending on the heat setting used.

2. Application Areas

Maintenance

Cleaning the Heating Wrap

The heating wrap is machine washable for easy cleaning and to prolong its lifespan.

1. Ensure the battery pack is removed from the wrap before washing.
2. Machine wash the wrap on a gentle cycle with cold water.
3. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Do not iron.

Storage

When not in use, store the heating wrap and its components in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

• Device not turning on: Ensure the battery pack is fully charged and correctly inserted into its pocket. Verify the power adapter is functioning if charging issues are suspected.
• Insufficient heat: Check that the desired heat setting is selected. Note that the highest setting (4) may drain the battery faster, potentially reducing overall heat duration.
• Battery not holding charge: Ensure the power adapter is properly connected during charging. If the battery pack consistently fails to charge or hold a charge, it may need replacement. Contact customer support for assistance.
• Wrap feels uncomfortable: Adjust the strap for a looser or tighter fit. Ensure the wrap is positioned correctly on the body.
