4. Installation Instructions
Follow these steps to properly install your GREENLUX LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light.
- Turn Off Power: Before starting any electrical work, ensure the power to the circuit is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Remove Existing Fixture: Carefully remove your old ceiling light fixture. Disconnect all wires and remove the old mounting bracket.
- Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the provided mounting bracket to the junction box in the ceiling using the included screws. Ensure the bracket is firmly attached.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the wires from the ceiling to the light fixture using the provided wire nuts. Typically, connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (live) wire from the ceiling, the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the ceiling, and the green (ground) wire from the fixture to the bare copper (ground) wire from the ceiling. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Secure Light Fixture: Align the light fixture with the mounting bracket. The fixture is designed to easily attach and twist into place on the bracket for a flush fit. Gently push the fixture upwards and twist until it locks securely.
- Restore Power: Once the fixture is securely installed, restore power at the circuit breaker. Test the light to ensure it functions correctly.
