3.2 Attaching Comb Attachments
The Vacutrim comes with two comb attachments that allow for 20 different trim length settings. To attach a comb, align it with the trimmer head and gently push until it clicks into place. To remove, gently pull the comb attachment away from the trimmer head.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
To turn on the Vacutrim, press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds. To turn off, press and hold the power button again for 3 seconds.
4.2 Adjusting Trim Length
The Vacutrim features a calibration dial with 20 precise trim length settings. Rotate the dial to select your desired hair length. The comb attachment will adjust accordingly to provide the selected length.
4.3 Using the Built-in Vacuum
The built-in vacuum automatically activates when the trimmer is turned on. It effectively sucks in hair trimmings as you shave, storing them in an internal compartment for later disposal. This feature significantly reduces mess in your sink or grooming area.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Vacuum Compartment
To maintain optimal performance and hygiene, regularly clean the built-in vacuum compartment. First, ensure the trimmer is turned off. Gently remove the comb attachment and then open the vacuum compartment (refer to the diagram in the included user manual for exact location). Empty the collected hair clippings. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any remaining hair or debris from the compartment and around the blades.
5.2 Oiling the Blades
For smooth operation and longevity of the blades, it is recommended to oil them at least once a month. With the trimmer turned off, apply a few drops of the provided lubricating oil onto the blades. Turn the trimmer on for about 15-30 seconds to allow the oil to distribute evenly. After oiling, wipe off any excess oil with a soft cloth or tissue.
6. Troubleshooting
- Trimmer not turning on: Ensure the trimmer is fully charged. If it still doesn't turn on, try plugging it in and using it while connected to power.
- Reduced trimming performance: The blades might be dull or clogged with hair. Clean the blades and vacuum compartment thoroughly. Apply lubricating oil as per maintenance instructions. If performance does not improve, consider replacing the blades (contact customer support for replacement parts).
- Vacuum not collecting hair effectively: The vacuum compartment might be full or clogged. Empty and clean the compartment as described in the maintenance section.
- Overheating: While designed to prevent overheating, prolonged continuous use or a clogged motor might cause warmth. Turn off the trimmer and allow it to cool down. Ensure all vents are clear of debris.
