Setup Guide

1. Unboxing and Components

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present:

• Feeder Unit (Base, Food Container, Lid)

2. Assembly

1. Place the feeding tray onto the base unit.
2. Insert the 2-way splitter into the designated slot on the base unit.
3. Place the two stainless steel bowls into the feeding tray.
4. (Optional) Attach the heightening foot pads to the bottom of the feeding tray to adjust the feeder's height according to your pet's size.

3. Power Supply

The feeder supports dual power supply for continuous operation:

• Primary Power: Connect the 5V DC adapter to the feeder and plug it into a wall outlet.
• Backup Power: For power outages, install 3 alkaline D-cell batteries (not included) in the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit.

4. App Installation and Connection

The WHDPETS feeder is controlled via the 'TUYA Smart' or 'Smartlife' App. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during setup.

1. Download the 'TUYA Smart' or 'Smartlife' App from your device's app store (iOS/Android).
2. Open the App and register/log in to your account.
3. Click "Add Device" and select "Camera & Lock" > "Smart Camera (Wifi)".
4. Enter your phone's Wi-Fi account and password.
5. Place the QR code on your phone screen 15-20cm away from the feeder's camera until you hear a beep.
6. Tap "I Heard a prompt" in the app.
7. Once connected successfully, click "Done".

Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Feeder

Open the feeder lid by pressing the top buckle-lock button. Pour dry pet food into the 5L transparent food container. The transparent window allows easy monitoring of the food level.

• Scheduled Feeding: Use the 'TUYA Smart' App to program a feeding plan. You can schedule up to 10 meals per day with 1-20 portions per meal. The app also provides a feeding log.
• Manual Feeding: Dispense food instantly using the "Feed" safety button on the device or through the app.

3. 1080P HD Video Interaction

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

2. Wi-Fi Connection Issues

If you experience difficulty connecting to the network:

• Ensure the feeder is powered by the USB power adapter, not just batteries, during initial setup.

• Confirm your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The feeder does not support 5GHz networks.
• Verify that the Wi-Fi name and password are correct and do not contain special characters or spaces.
• If the indicator light is not flashing rapidly or a prompt tone is not heard, try resetting the device.

3. Food Dispensing Issues

If food is not dispensing correctly:

• Check the kibble size. Recommended kibble size is 2-12mm. Larger or irregularly shaped kibble may cause blockages.
• Ensure the food container is not overfilled, which can sometimes impede the motor.
• Verify there are no obstructions in the dispensing mechanism.
