2. Setup Instructions
- Unpack the Charger and Batteries: Carefully remove the EBL 907 charger and the 8 AAA rechargeable batteries from their packaging.
- Inspect the Charger: Ensure the charger is free from any visible damage. The foldable AC plug is located on the back of the unit.
- Insert Batteries: Insert 1 to 4 compatible Ni-MH/Ni-CD AA or AAA rechargeable batteries into the charging slots. Ensure correct polarity (+ and - ends) as indicated on the charger and batteries. The charger supports individual charging, so you can charge any number of batteries from one to four.
- Connect to Power: Extend the foldable AC plug and plug the charger directly into a standard wall outlet (100-240V AC). The LCD display will illuminate, showing the current charge status of each inserted battery.

3. Operating Instructions
The EBL 907 charger features an intelligent LCD display that provides real-time feedback on the charging status of each battery.
- Charging Indication: Once plugged in with batteries inserted, the LCD screen will show individual battery icons. These icons will flash to indicate that charging is in progress.
- Full Charge Indication: When a battery is fully charged, its corresponding icon on the LCD display will stop flashing and remain solid.
- Error Detection: If a non-rechargeable or defective battery is inserted, the LCD will display an "ERROR" message for that specific slot. Remove the problematic battery immediately.
- Charging Time: Charging times vary depending on the battery capacity and discharge level. For the included 1100mAh AAA batteries, a full charge typically takes a few hours.

4. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the charger from the power outlet before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the charger and battery contacts. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the charger in water.
- Storage: Store the charger and batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, it is recommended to charge batteries to about 50% capacity.
- Battery Care: Avoid fully discharging Ni-MH batteries frequently, as this can reduce their lifespan. Recharge them when they are low, rather than completely depleted.
5. Troubleshooting
- Batteries Not Charging:
- Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
- Check if the charger is securely plugged into a working power outlet.
- Verify that the batteries are rechargeable Ni-MH or Ni-CD types. The charger is not compatible with alkaline or lithium batteries.
- If an "ERROR" message appears, the battery may be defective or incompatible. Remove and replace it.
- Slow Charging:
- Ensure the charger is not in an excessively hot environment, which can affect charging efficiency.
- Check the battery capacity; higher capacity batteries will naturally take longer to charge.
- Charger Overheating:
- Disconnect the charger immediately. Allow it to cool down.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the charger during operation.
