4. Setup Guide

4.1. Charging the Scanner

4.2. Connecting via Bluetooth (BT 4.1)

  4. On your host device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "Eyoyo Scanner" (or similar) to pair.

4.3. Connecting via 2.4G Wireless

  1. Plug the 2.4G USB wireless dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
  2. Turn on the scanner. It should automatically connect to the dongle.
  3. The scanner will indicate a successful connection with a sound or light.

4.4. Connecting via USB Wired

  1. Connect the USB cable directly from the scanner to your computer's USB port.
  2. The scanner will function as a wired device, typically recognized as a keyboard input.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Scanning

Point the scanner at the barcode you wish to read and press the scan button. A successful scan will typically be indicated by a beep and/or vibration, and the data will be transmitted to your connected device.

5.2. Instant Upload Mode vs. Storage Mode

The scanner supports two data upload modes:

  • Instant Upload Mode: Data is transmitted to the connected device immediately after each successful scan. This is the default mode.
  • Storage Mode: Scanned data is saved internally in the scanner's memory (up to 16MB, approximately 100,000 barcodes). Data can be uploaded later when connected to a device. To switch to Storage Mode, scan the specific configuration barcode provided in the full user manual.
