Operating Instructions

1. Adjusting Grind Coarseness

The TIMEMORE Chestnut ESP grinder features a precise adjustable setting mechanism. To adjust the grind size:

  1. Remove the bottom collection container by twisting it counter-clockwise.
  2. Locate the grind adjustment dial at the bottom of the main grinder body, above the burrs.
  3. Rotate the dial clockwise for a finer grind and counter-clockwise for a coarser grind. Each click represents a specific adjustment. Refer to the markings for general guidance (e.g., "FINE" for espresso, "COARSE" for French press).
  4. Once the desired setting is achieved, reattach the collection container by twisting it clockwise until secure.

Maintenance

  • Daily Cleaning: After each use, tap the grinder gently to dislodge any remaining coffee grounds. Use the provided brush to clean the burrs and the inside of the collection container.
  • Deep Cleaning (Monthly/As Needed): For a more thorough cleaning, you may carefully disassemble the burr set. Use the brush to remove all coffee residue from the burrs and internal components.
  • Do Not Wash with Water: The burrs and internal mechanisms should not be washed with water, as this can lead to rust and damage. Use only a dry brush or cloth for cleaning.
  • Storage: Store the grinder in a dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
