6. Maintenance

6.1 Regular Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential to maintain optimal performance and hygiene.

  1. Daily: Empty and rinse the water tank daily. Wipe down the inside of the tank and the top cover with a clean cloth.
  2. Weekly: For a more thorough cleaning, mix equal parts white vinegar and water. Pour the solution into the water tank and let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour to loosen mineral deposits.
  3. Use a soft brush or cloth to scrub away any remaining deposits.
  4. Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
  5. Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.

6.2 Filter Replacement

The filter sticks should be replaced regularly, typically every 1-3 months, depending on usage and water quality. Signs that a filter needs replacement include reduced mist output or an unpleasant odor.

  1. Follow the instructions in Section 4.3 to remove and replace the filter sticks.
  2. Dispose of used filters responsibly.
