Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the toaster from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the toaster on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials like curtains. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
- First Use (Burn-off): Before toasting food for the first time, operate the toaster without bread on the highest setting (6) for a few minutes. This will burn off any manufacturing residues and eliminate odors. A slight smoke or odor is normal during this initial use. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
- Insert Bread: Place one or two slices of bread, bagels, or English muffins into the toasting slots.
- Select Browning Level: Turn the Shade Selector Dial to your desired browning level. Setting 1 is for light toast, and setting 6 is for dark toast.
- Lower Lever: Press the lever down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin.
- Bagel Function (Optional): If toasting bagels, press the Bagel button after lowering the lever. This function toasts the cut side of the bagel while warming the outer side.
- Cancel Function: To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the Cancel button. The bread will automatically pop up.
- Remove Toast: Once the toasting cycle is complete, the toast will automatically pop up. Carefully remove the toast.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the toaster and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Clean Crumb Tray: Pull out the removable crumb tray from the bottom of the toaster. Discard crumbs. Wipe the tray with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before reinserting.
