1. Product Overview

The GZLMMY K9 is a versatile 2-in-1 device, combining an MP3 player with 16GB of built-in memory and bone conduction Bluetooth headphones. Designed for active lifestyles, especially swimming, these headphones offer IPX8 deep waterproofing, ensuring durability in aquatic environments. The ergonomic, on-ear design provides comfort for extended wear, and the bone conduction technology allows for an open-ear listening experience.

2. Setup Guide

2.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the headphones. Use the provided magnetic data cable to connect the headphones to a USB power source. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours, and should not exceed 4 hours.

2.2 Loading Music (MP3 Mode)

The K9 headphones have 16GB of built-in memory for music playback. Connect the headphones to a computer using the magnetic data cable. The device will appear as a removable disk. Drag and drop your desired music files (MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, PLAC formats are supported) directly into the device's storage.

2.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the headphones are powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Power/Mode button until the indicator light flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select 'K9' from the list of devices to connect. Once connected, the indicator light will turn solid blue.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Button Functions

  • On/Off/Mode Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to switch between Bluetooth mode and MP3 mode.
  • Volume Up/Next Track Button (+): Short press for volume up. Long press for next track.
  • Volume Down/Previous Track Button (-): Short press for volume down. Long press for previous track.
  • Answer/Play/Pause/Shuffle Button: Short press to play/pause music or answer/end calls. Double press to switch between shuffle and sequential playback modes.

3.2 Using in Water (Swimming Mode)

When swimming or using the headphones underwater, it is essential to switch to MP3 mode. Bluetooth signals cannot transmit effectively underwater. Ensure your music files are loaded onto the device's 16GB internal memory before entering the water. The IPX8 rating allows for deep waterproof use.

4. Maintenance and Care

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your GZLMMY K9 headphones, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the headphones with a soft, damp cloth after each use, especially after swimming, to remove chlorine or salt residue. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Drying: Allow the headphones to air dry completely before charging or storing them, especially after exposure to water.
  • Storage: Store the headphones in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Flexibility: The headphones are designed with a flexible titanium alloy frame. While durable, avoid excessive bending or twisting beyond their natural flexibility to prevent damage.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Headphones not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to the charger for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
  • Cannot connect via Bluetooth:
    • Ensure the headphones are in Bluetooth pairing mode (flashing blue and red light).
    • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is within the effective range (10m).
    • Forget the device from your phone's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.
  • No sound from headphones:
    • Check the volume level on both the headphones and your connected device.
    • If in MP3 mode, ensure music files are properly loaded and not corrupted.
    • If underwater, confirm you are in MP3 mode, as Bluetooth does not work underwater.
  • Short battery life:
    • Ensure the headphones are fully charged before use.
    • Note that continuous use, especially underwater, can consume battery faster. Underwater usage may reduce battery life to approximately 1 hour.
