4. Setup and Installation

The ACECAR G10 is designed for easy plug-and-play installation. No complex wiring is required.

4.1 Mounting Options

You have two primary options for mounting the device:

1. Dashboard Placement: Use one of the provided non-slip mats to secure the G10 unit on your car's dashboard. Ensure the placement does not obstruct your view of the road.
2. Windshield/A-pillar Mounting: Attach the rotary suction cup holder to the windshield or A-pillar. The bracket can be rotated 360 degrees to achieve the desired viewing angle.

4.2 Power Connection

Connect the Micro USB cable to the G10 unit and plug the other end into your vehicle's USB port or a cigarette lighter car charger port. The device will power on automatically when the vehicle starts.

5.1 Display Modes

5.2 Alarm Functions

• Overspeed Alarm: The device can be configured to alert you when your speed exceeds a preset limit. The default setting is 120 KM/H. Adjust this value through the device settings menu.
• Fatigue Driving Reminder: An audible alert will sound if you have been driving continuously for more than 4 hours, prompting you to take a break.

Upon powering on, the G10 will automatically search for GPS and BeiDou satellite signals. Data such as speed, compass direction, altitude, latitude, and longitude are acquired from these satellites, ensuring accuracy and reliability regardless of weather conditions.

• No Display/Power: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the G10 unit and a functional power source (USB port or cigarette lighter adapter). Check if the vehicle's ignition is on.
• Inaccurate Speed Reading: Ensure the device has a clear view of the sky for optimal satellite signal reception. Speed accuracy can be affected by tunnels, dense urban areas, or heavy tree cover. Allow a few moments for the device to acquire a stable GPS signal after startup.
• Compass Inaccuracy: The compass relies on GPS data. If the GPS signal is weak, the compass may not display correctly. Ensure clear sky visibility.
• Settings Issues: If you are having difficulty adjusting settings or understanding specific functions, please refer to the detailed instructions in the printed user manual provided with your device.
• No Cumulative Odometer/Time: The G10 does not have an internal battery to retain cumulative data when powered off. All trip data resets when the device loses power.
