Buttons and Switches:

5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
- Insert 2 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
5.2 Initial Power-On and Atomic Time Synchronization
Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically begin searching for the WWVB radio signal. This process can take 1-2 minutes. During this time, all buttons will be temporarily unavailable. Once successfully connected, the atomic signal icon (
) will appear on the display, and the time, date, and day of the week will be set automatically.
If the atomic signal is not received, you may need to manually set the time and date. Ensure the clock is placed away from electronic devices that may cause interference.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Manual Time and Date Setting
If atomic synchronization fails or you prefer manual setting:
- In normal mode, press and hold the
(SET) button for 2 seconds to enter time setting mode. The digits will flash. - Use the
(UP) or
(DOWN) buttons to adjust the flashing value. - Press
(SET) to confirm and move to the next setting item in the following order: Atomic Clock ON/OFF → 12/24-Hour Format → Time Zone → DST ON/OFF → Hour → Minute → Year → Month → Day. - Press
(SET) repeatedly until all settings are confirmed, or wait 10 seconds for the clock to automatically exit setting mode and save changes.
6.2 Alarm Setting
The clock features two independent alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2).
- To set Alarm 1 or Alarm 2, slide the corresponding switch (left or right side of the clock) to the ON position. The alarm time will appear on the display.
- Press and hold the
(ALARM) button for 2 seconds. The alarm hour will flash. - Use the
(UP) or
(DOWN) buttons to adjust the hour. - Press
(ALARM) to confirm the hour and move to the minute setting. Adjust minutes using
(UP) or
(DOWN). - Press
(ALARM) to confirm and exit alarm setting mode. - To activate/deactivate an alarm, simply slide the corresponding switch on the side of the clock to ON or OFF.
6.3 Snooze Function
When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will pause for 8 minutes and then sound again. To stop the alarm completely, slide the corresponding alarm switch to OFF.
6.4 Backlight Modes
- Auto Light: Slide the "AUTO LIGHT" switch on the back to "ON". The display will emit a soft glow in dark environments.
- 8-Second Backlight: If the "AUTO LIGHT" switch is "OFF", press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top for a brief 8-second orange backlight.
6.5 Temperature Display
The clock displays indoor temperature. To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), press and hold the
(UP) button for 2 seconds in normal mode.

7. Maintenance
- Clean the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals.

- Backlight Too Bright/Always On: If the "AUTO LIGHT" switch is "ON", the display will glow softly in darkness. If you prefer no constant glow, set the "AUTO LIGHT" switch to "OFF" and use the SNOOZE/LIGHT button for an 8-second backlight.
- Incorrect Time Zone/DST: During manual setup, ensure the correct time zone offset (e.g., EST is -5, CST is -6, MST is -7, PST is -8) and DST setting are selected.
