Setup and Charging

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your VIKICON Beard Straightener. This initial charge may take approximately 3 hours. For optimal charging, use a 5V/2A adapter (not included) with the provided USB Type-C cable.

• Connect the USB Type-C cable to the charging port at the bottom of the device.
• Plug the other end of the USB cable into a 5V/2A USB power adapter.
• The battery level indicator lights will illuminate during charging. Once fully charged, the lights will indicate a full battery.

A full charge typically provides up to 30 minutes of continuous straightening power. Note that the device cannot be used while it is charging.

Operating Instructions

Preparing for Use

• Ensure your beard or hair is completely dry before styling.
• Comb through your beard or hair to remove any tangles.

Powering On and Setting Temperature

• Press and hold the On/Off button (refer to Figure 3) for a few seconds to turn on the device. The working indicator light will illuminate.
• Press the On/Off button repeatedly to cycle through the temperature settings:
  • 160°C / 320°F (Lowest setting, suitable for fine or short hair/beard)
  • 180°C / 356°F (Medium setting, suitable for normal hair/beard)
  • 200°C / 392°F (Highest setting, suitable for thick or coarse hair/beard)
• Allow 2-3 minutes for the device to reach the selected temperature. The indicator light for the selected temperature will stop flashing when ready.

Styling Your Beard/Hair

• Take a small section of your beard or hair.
• Slowly brush through the section from root to tip, ensuring the comb teeth glide smoothly.
• Repeat as necessary until desired straightness or style is achieved.
• For best results, brush downwards and outwards to straighten, or inwards to add volume.

Powering Off

Press and hold the On/Off button for a few seconds to turn off the device. The device will also automatically shut off after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your VIKICON Beard Straightener:

• Cleaning: Ensure the device is turned off and completely cool before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the comb teeth and body. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Always place the protective cover over the comb teeth when storing or traveling.
• Battery Care: To maintain battery health, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Recharge the device when the battery indicator shows low power.
